Auto Rifle Rebalance.
I'm gonna keep this simple. I have another discussion about auto rifles I used as a test to see if people actually cared about the current fate of the auto rifle. I was surprised to see the overwhelming results. So let's take some votes.
Poll 1: you are dissatisfied with the current auto rifle and wish to see it fairly rebalanced so it can keep up with its crucible counterparts.
Note: this is not asking for the unfair advantage it once held in early destiny pvp. Just a rebalance so it can keep up at the same pace with the current pvp favorites.
Poll 2: you believe the auto rifle is fine the way it is. No buff. No nerf. No rebalance.
That's all there is to it. Let's make some Destiny history people. -Siloes

Edit: So far the we have reached a little over 50 votes but the statistics are plain, and obvious. The people want their auto rifles back Bungie. I, and many others here, love Destiny and immensely respect Deej and all Bungie employees who made this fantastic game possible which is why we wish to have our voices heard, and our opinions at the least considered. Edit: over 100 votes and the results couldn't be more obvious. 95% of destiny players would like their auto rifles rebalanced. I'd say that is enough evidence to begin work on a rebalance. Keep voting people, don't forget that EVERY vote counts and please leave a comment or simply a "bump" to increase this discussions awareness so we can receive more votes. reason i voted 1 is that the only type pf AR youre able to use at the moment are doctrine type ones cause those bullethoses range drop off is so insignificant that you can more or less outshoot anything at any range, making the other AR archetypes pretty much useless.

2 RepliesAuto rifles should return to glory, not OP like true vanilla (That ShingenC was beast), but rebalanced for equality. Auto rifles in both PvE and PvP perform lackluster. Yesterday I got a DHYB and was excited to see it had decent stats. Tried it in PvE. It was eh. Decent. PvP testing. God, this is awful! Auto rifles have dropped into Crota's abyss, only to be recovered by a daring few who want to overcome the nerf imposed on us by Bungie. Auto rifles need to be viable once more.

1 ReplyIt seems like a lot of people agree that there is a problem with AR's. The thing about Bungie is that it always feels like they are not listening. My guess is that they most certainly are listening. They most likely are so careful with what they say because, if you look back to prelaunch, some things were "promised" or said before the team perhaps actually new for sure that they would be implemented. So to prevent that from occurring again they are very choosy with what they say, it comes across as silence, which come across as the pleas of the community falling on deaf ears. If there is any true unbalance i'm sure it will be fixed.
