Celestial Nighthawk is...
A freaking beast. I one shot killed Deathsinger on hard mode with this helmet.
I was level 34 if that makes a difference.
Edit 1: over 300 replies, it seems a lot of hate is coming from non hunters....(it's cause they jealous)
Edit 2: 600+ replies! People seem to really love this helmet!

1 ReplyFor me, it is not about the one powerful shot but the quick super gain you get from it. Super energy from grenade kills, minions kills, AND... as some of you might have found out... Grenade damage! Wow, it gets the super quickly. The grenade damage does not work in pvp though. :( I like it so far. I have used it as a Bladedancer too because of the fast super energy gain.

13 RepliesHahahaha, no it's not. It's pretty much a useless perk that isn't necessary for anything in the game. The only thing I've yet to try it on is Atheon. Since your special keeps filling it may be okay.

I spent 230 motes of light last weekend trying to get that helmet. Never got it, sadly I got garbage, and the Eternal Warrior helmet, which in my opinion is so garbage.

That's awesome we ran vog hard yesterday and we landed on venus, future, right side before this gets attacked, anyway I grab relic my m8 was like I got your grenade and then the minotaur just exploded full shield and all...I'm like I need to max this out.

I would rather have 3 shots of double damage but thats just me. I can do massive damage with my weapons. Supers are for dropping orbs for my teammates.

i dismantled at least 8 of those by xurning helmet engrams to get a ram helmet for my warlock. i deleted my hunter so i have no use for them
