Bungie is terrible at finding the balance between a challenging, rewarding, end-game activity that will give a sense of accomplishment (note: I did NOT say easy) and ridiculously frustrating, beat your head against a wall impossibility to the vast majority of the player base. Pantheon, Legend Onslaught and Zero Hour alienates and frustrates the VAST MAJORITY of the player base. Its not fun, and that's the second major problem. Games, at the end of the day are suppose to be fun. And constant deaths and wiping and frustration are NOT fun. Say "get-good" all you want, but if this becomes the rule for future content, there will be a mass exodus of the player-base. I have soooooo many long-time, dedicated friends and clan-mates that hate this and have left the game. Please, please for the love of God Bungie, please find a better balance between a challenging, end-game content and the very un-fun, soul-crushing, frustrating mess you are currently promoting.

Man, if only we had resources that allowed us to take data and back up our claims. Well, friend, I actually do for my response. On steam alone, since the launch of Into the Light, daily player counts have doubled with much higher percentages on the weekends. Peak players on steam alone is up to 125K. This is what we the long time, D1, endgame veterans, want. Get good or go play Mario on the switch.

Bungie should listen to casuals… driving the average joes out of the game is not good for their money

Each clan (plus my most beloved friends in the pre-clan D1days) have all vanished into the ether.In fact there is one and only one other person still playing out of all the people I ran with and/or friended in the D1 days and early D2 days. Why, because of the continuously degrading of the game I loved raids and trials but thanks to changes to 'balance' (LOL) the game and listening WAY to much to streamers and not the 'average' player. Granted there are people that just want easy solo's (I'm now just a pure solo or match made player) but I do want challenge, I want it very much. But lets face it most of the current end game activities are made to stress, unless you run them 10 million times and truly KWTD as you know the timing and location of everything! Don;t get me wrong I find NOTHING wrong with that. I used to do that too back in the D1 days so I could help others in raids or other endgame activities. But since streamers on on D2 all day everyday know these things get old and boring for them thus they ask for harder/more. So maybe the solution is to change our society such that streamers can't make a living streaming. Heck some folks not only make a living of it but make more money, a lot more, then those of us who that strive to prepare 'real' students for a better future, for those who risk their lives to help and save others. I always find it amazing (not in a good sense) that people who play games and sports make so, so, so much more then people that work at the jobs that sustain, help, and provide for them.

So they should listen to who ? The guys on these forums that wants everything to be made easy because they couldnt make it first try solo ? Or the ones who wants every gun that killed them in their previous pvp match get nerfed hard ? Or maybe the players who only do lost sectors/strikes ? They dont only listen to "streamers" They listen to experienced players / and the stats they gather from activities (weapons usage etc...) And also they probably look at the videos about bosses melt...insane builds etc...

I swear titles like these are just copypastas, you gotta be delusional if you think bungie is making decisions based on streamers, Most, if not ALL nerfs that went out have been things that have most likely already been on Bungie's sights way before any sort of streamers made proper feedback about it. Enough with throwing buzzwords like "elitist" and "streamers" whenever Bungie makes even the most minute nerf in something that clearly needed changes lol stop being so cringe this ain't a political commentary, at the end of the day it's just balancing changes that hardly alter gameplay that mucm

That’s probably because they couldn’t just melt everything with primary weapons and had to learn how to build craft. Stop whining about everything in the game and invest some time in to get better. Otherwise, it would probably be best for you to put this game down because news flash, DESTINY WAS AT ITS WORSE WHEN IT CATERED TO CASUALS 😐

They should definitely listen to you forum noobs who cry for a nerf against every weapon that kills you in crucible, or buff only your favourite weapons so you can 1 tap everything

If they water down the game to accommodate everyone , then everyone also leaves Dedicated Players have nothing engaging to do, and there isn't enough to hold casuals attention

Can you actually name stuff bungie has done which streamers have asked for by chance? Like 5 examples where a streamer caused a change to the game

This might sound hostile, but I'm just trying to gauge where we're at with this comment. Do you believe that Bungie, a company that has been studying this audience and the impacted market for the last 10 years of destiny as an IP (and longer with Halo before it), will make changes in spite of that data for someone that has little else but vibes and a microphone?

bungie kinda has to listen to streamers cuz theyre the ones that advertise their game the most. for example, the community was blowing up about hunter shatterdive when that was a problem and bungie was doing nothing. the moment datto tweeted about it bungie couldnt nerf it fast enough
