How do you counter Vex Mythoclast in Crucible?
Title says it all. I was playing some Crucible last night and ran into a fireteam of 3 or 4 Vex users. Needless to say, many tears were collected.

I've only had my vex for a couple of weeks so haven't tried it in Crucible yet. By the sounds of it I probably should!

1 ReplyBad juju. If your aim is true, and you may die as well, but damn it feels good to 3 burst them with a gun no one else uses. Now hawkmoon and thorns are another story. I just get bored of running thorn. Maybe next week in ib. But I just hate it. I like tactics and doing what you enjoy if you can make it work. I have suros, vex, thorn, tlw, and all the fusion rifles I could want to be a jerk off. I just don't find it fun. Hawkmoon is the one I'm missing. Il use that when I get it because it's just so crunchy with sound and destruction. Other then that. Pick what you like, and go. Find ways around it. Once you get them, you'l find they lose their taste quick.

1 ReplyGit gud? Seriously though just switch up your tactics. It's good but not THAT good. I like hitting them with a fusion rifle with accelerated coils. Start doing that then come back to the forums and see a new post... "How do you counter a fusion rifle in the crucible?"

Depending on how they perk it it's fairly easy to deal with at range. Thorn works fantastically if you can stay behind cover and let the burn work. Or Extreme close range with shotgun/fusion. Thorn+abyss defiant is a worth enough combo.

2 RepliesGet close or stay back, it has a very limited effective range, especially considering most players will take extended mag in pvp.

I use Mythoclast a lot in Crucible I can say from experience the last word always out guns me. Props to last word users.

From my experience SUROS regime is on par with the Mythoclast in terms of damage. Just have to aim for the head

6 RepliesI use Thorn. Now. For one that will Bake your noodle. How do I Counter Thorn? ESPECIALLY against A Team of Trash who only use Thorn. Bungie. IF by some miracle you read this AND actually care my suggestion is that when you equip Thorn you lose your Overshield. Basically make it a Cursed weapon.
