Are most of the people on this forum unemployed?
Or are you just finding time to play in the morning, because I can't ever find time in the morning to play and I see everyone has already completed the nightfalls/raids.
I say this because every reset and other days for that matter, people are and have played the strikes raids etc. and they continue to play throughout the day....
Do you guys not have work? Do you not go to school? Do you just sit home all day and play video games? Or are you finding a way to fit it in before work? This doesn't really apply to the other hemispheres time zones though. Also how many of you have 2nd or even 3rd shift that allows you to play at this time!?
Now I realize many people are at work/school (me) right now on the forum and some may have a late shift or something like that. But there is so many on this forum that are playing in the morning when you'd think they would be at work/school. FYI: I'm wondering about the people that play in the morning-noon. The ones posting their nightfall rewards at 8am (different time-zones I know)
I figure most people just browse the forums while at school/work as I am right now.
Edit: yes I realized different time zones but the majority of this forum is American based off of destiny purchases, and it's still way too early to be off work every week

I work 2nd shift.. Get home around midnight, play for an hour or so, except on reset night I play late to do the nf. Aside from that I'll sometimes play in the morning before work.

On days that I don't work I usually wake up when my girlfriend goes to work (5AM) and play all morning. Otherwise I just browse the forums a few times a week.

1 ReplyDude i skip sleep to play extra, but there are ppl on my fl that are always on playing destiny O_O They're on when i log on, when i log off, and at random times when i sneak in an extra strike or control match. I swear all they do is sleep & play... Some really have no job or anything, others do & take this game on a less serious tone which is a big difference in attitude most of the time. I mean, how the fudge do they do that?!

Some people take Tuesday's off just to do it at reset. Not me though. I save those days for when dlc's drop. :o

I play an hour each night. 2 characters: 2 n/f and 2 weeklies (about hour to hour and a half max) 2 raids (about hour to hour and a half max) No Vog (no point, I own everything, unless i'm taking new guys through from my clan) 4 hours on patrols and bounties. What's hard about that?

Got work everyday from 9-8 or longer depending on the day. But i play for way too many hours at night and rarely get a lot of sleep.

I work 4 12s a week so I have 3 full days off. Just try to squeeze it all into one day lol

Well, I just finished work, it's 12.15 am where I am. Just browsing the forums at the moment, maybe hop on Destiny later. I don't play in the mornings either. Real life responsibilities and all that.

Yes I work 5 days a week, go to college, and have a girlfriend which all that combined takes tons of my time, however... umm... I don't give a -blam!- about sleep so yea destiny is life.

Not everybody works 9-5. Some work 2nd or 3rd shift. Some people don't work Tuesdays. Some people will just play for a little before work.

Maybe some people lost their jobs through no fault of their own...maybe people are too ill to work or maybe they have social anxiety, and expressing themselves through gaming and learning to talk to others well enough to build their confidence in the real world? Or maybe lifes eaiser on the dole...

2 RepliesI don't get why you feel the need to Bring people down cause they may have more Time to do raids/nightfalls, or simply have the skill to complete it. Unlike yourself. I work of night shift, part time. So I get off half an hour before reset. Enough time to change, pick up some food , and get ready to play. My team of six played right at the reset, as we all were off, and completed the nightfall, Crotas end on all 3 characters. All six of us, then did one VOG run on hard and took out atheon in two shield runs.... In four hours? I see there is a common trend in this forum, maybe you haven't seem this phrase but it goes something like; "get gud, scrub."

Only on resets Ill sacrifice sleep and wake up during the reset to knockout the NF then crash about 40 mins to an hour later. I wake up at 0530 mon thru friday for PT then work till 1700. My hygiene, breakfast, lunch and dinner all go to my lil family. Then I finish up the night with Destiny and crash out around 2300. Military life bruh, biggest buyers in gaming.

My schedule is 10-7. I wake up at 7am, have breakfast catch up on news and knock out the dailies on my two characters. Everything else is done at night.

I work 40+ hours a week, I used to wake up early in the morning and play for several hours before work but the past few weeks I've just been so tired that I've only been on once or twice a week for an hour or two.

Work schedules, vacation time, sick leave, college are reasons why people have already done the weekly/nightfall/raid. Plus a good team can complete the weekly and nightfall under an hour.
