Yeah, I wonder why the Mythoclast, Suros Regime and Thorn tops the list. It is because you are unable to outgun them unless you squeeze in a few hits with any other weapon before they start shooting back, and players know that. I know that, I have the Suros and Thorn myself, but I never use them in PvP nowadays for just that reason. Why are they never nerfed so we can have some balanced multiplayer.
Especially now with Iron Banner. I almost exclusively see Mythoclasts, Thorns and Regimes in the lobbies I end up in, with an occasional other legendary here and there. I am not normally a guy that responds this strongly, but this is just ridiculous!

Edited by xlNCESTlCIDEx: 1/14/2015 11:48:47 AMNo need to nerf weapons. If u are getting out gunned in iron banner, don't fkn play it!!! Iron banner is there to pit players against each other with no lvl caps including weapons.
-
What about regular multiplayer?
-
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
Actually.... F uck nerfing weapons and f uck the b!tches who don't like the weapons. Go back to PvE!!
-
Would love to, but since three out of four (five if you count Xur) sells items for Crucible marks only, I have to play Crucible.
-
+1 to this
-
Too many nerfs happened because of all the crucibabies on this forum. Luckily bungie buffed them back up, although weapons like the suros arent at the level they used to be. We need no more weapon nerfs. If anything, nerf the crucible. Its ruining this game. If they got rid of it and put all that energy into the pve side, this game would be epic. Plus, we'd have tue added venefit of not having to worry about 10 yr olds conplaining about a weapon being too powerful and wanting it nerfed because they keep getting -blam!- in pvp.
-
Why do I get the feeling you are one of the guys relying on them in PvP, but fears a nerf because it would force you to work for kills again?
-
Not sure why you get that feeling. The only pvp i've played was for bounties. I dont like pvp anymore, as i grew out of it years ago. Pvp is for kids who try to win every argument with k/d ratios.
-
Well, mostly because the heaviest rants against my opinion comes from the people who fears a nerf to them, so that they either have to find another gun or actually have at least some challenge in getting kills.
-
I have a Vex, suros, and thorn. I don't use them in Pvp. But not because there busted, because there really not. Thorn is the only one that is a alittle mean. Stop crying, they don't need to nerf anything.
-
There exotics for a reason man there overpowered because if there just as lame as all the other weapons people use no need to waste an exotic slot if it's crap just saying man
-
They are stronger compared to other exotics too. I know, I have used them. Plus, you almost never see any other exotic primaries. A few Last Words and Hawkmoons, but that's about it. Where is Hard Light in PvP? Where is Bad Juju? Mida Multitool?
-
Some guns are made primarily made for pve hence the suros is awarded in the crucibal which kind of makes it seem it was made more towards pvp but either way it's an exotic if they keep nerf in things like they did the vex then what's the point of exotics just give me the 1st gun In the game ya know. Just saying tho everyone has opinions
-
Two shot from fwc calling scout Rifle with armor pearcing bullets to the head in crusible makes the Job done. Best weapon
-
I use the kvostov in pvp...im taking it in iron banner friday
-
I still have my old Khvostov in my vault. Been taking it out on occasion for funsies :) can't say it does good in PvP but it is fun to use there and brings a minor addition to variety there :)
-
Suros, and Vex have already been nerfed way too much.
-
Then why are they still topping the list of most common PvP weapons? Why are those three particularily hard to fight against, even if you bring your own exotic?
-
Old military axiom: if you ever find yourself in a fair fight, you f*cked up.
-
That is true, and you should always find the advantage. But in a game claiming to have normalized damage (regular PvP), it can be assumed to mean similar TTK. This is not the case here
-
I see no reason to nerf.Your hunter has a shotgun on so I already know you gonna spam the blink and shotgun which can be deadly but is very reckless and your warlock has hard light which in the right hands can chop mobs of players especially if you take advantage of the overpenatrate and richochet.you are pretty set I think its just a way your going about it,I use thorn but when that fails I use my trump card red death which at close and mid is devastating especially since you heal.yea exotics are meant to be strong its not the gun but the year that makes it you just gotta find a weakness and exploit it.
-
My Warlock has the shotgun on, look again. And it is my counter against those shotgun fellows you claim I am. Since you assume you know how I play, guess I can assume you are one of the many favouring the strongest guns and thus not want them nerfed so that you have to do work again. And I have tried the Hard Light in PvP. Good gun, but cannot outmatch the guns I complain about unless I get the first shots in before they start firing. And that is exotic versus exotic.
-
Not really a fan of op stuff I like thorn but I'm better with red death.I just don't want them to go on a nerfing fest.I meant no harm by the assumption.do you remember pocket infinity? it used to be the second strongest gone but now its a piece of crap and thorn when they nerfed it was useless.Shotguns didn't have a falloff range until needs and auto rifles still has the .25 decrease. If you don't mind me asking did you post this because of the iron banner?just curious.
-
No, I didn't post just because of Iron Banner. Since level advantages are enabled, it is a different field when we talk raw damage output. My main beef with the guns comes from regular multiplayer, where damage is supposed to be normalized. Iron Banner just came into the discussion because of the sheer amounts of Regimes primarily, but also Mythoclasts, that are in play there.
