Do you REALLY want matchmaking for raids?
Think about all the complaints you see with strike matchmaking. Do you really think raid matchmaking will be any better? I think there will be more Complaints because there's more commitment to a raid than a strike

Some people are asking, why don't you want it? Just don't use it.
Here are my thoughts.
Think of it like taxes. We bought the game, we're contributing to the devs pay checks. I'd rather that they spend their time making something cool or fixing something, rather than making something that is doomed to fail.
Most people that have trouble putting together their own groups either don't have mics (which you don't want on your team, more than likely), or aren't experienced or skilled (again, undesirable)
Another thought: how does hosting work? If someone trolls, what can you do aside from quit? Some want kicking. Who gets that power? What if you get kicked because you don't have icebreaker or gjallarhorn?
One more: what about checkpoints, how do they work? Have to start fresh? Choose your own? Then people would just MM for Atheon hard mode, which would be even worse.

Absolutely 100% NO. There will be people who can't spell the word raid in there. Not to mention all the AFK'ers and those who can only game for 30 minutes at a time.

I would have to say yes. Not a lot of people have many friends who play destiny and don't have the time to hunt around for a team. Best way I feel it should be done is have an option for matchmaking and not matchmaking.

I don't mind the easy access to raid parties. I still prefer to join up a game with people I know or people I meet on the forums. I feel like a random match making thing for VoG and CE will throw new players in with veterans trying to run through it quick.

I personally want raid mathmaking, i have ps4 all my friends have the box. but more than that i really want nightfall and weekly matchmaking, and there is no reason why they should not exist. they are just harder versions of strikes which have matchmaking

3 RepliesI have no issue with Strike matchmaking. I have no issue joining random group on Raid (as long as there is voice chat). I see no reason why Raid matchmaking wouldn't work sufficiently as the Strike matchmaking works. In the meantime people have adequate ways to get together in Raids regardless (using forum, other websites, etc).

No. Sods law you'll get stuck with half a team with no mics. If they provided options to matchmake such as Mics Only, Same Region (USA, Europe etc), Lvl of guardian in ranges, It might not be so bad.

No. If there were matchmaking it would be near impossible to complete it. I know that when I join raids me and all the members are serious about it and the reason we are in a group in the first place is due to a couple reasons. We know how to complete it and that we are good enough to complete it. If you add match making then the casual "I don't care" players will screw it up for the serious people.

Why not? If you don't want to use it than keep making raids the same way. If people want to use it than hey have the option.

If I make my own team I can remove people for just standing there in matchmaking there's nothing that can be done but just go on

7 RepliesI think if they do add it everything should be exactly the same. You can kick people, You can add new people, you can stop and still be in the same fire team with the same people (if the host leaves that is) and you can go into a search with 1-5 people. So say you have a team of 5 and you need one random. You use matchmaking. It doesn't work out (bad mic, didn't talk, wasn't ready to raid, etc.) then you back out and try again. That would be an ideal system.

Match making for raids would create more problems for people then it would fix. I would like an in game LFG system for raids though. One with filters. Also add in a player feedback option, so that if your a doucher people can leave that feed back. So when you go to find a group I could filter you out.

No. I haven't wanted from the start and I don't want it now. The way it's set up now, you can look at the members before adding them. As someone is the leader, you can boot them if they're out of control or being general jerks. You'd most likely get paired with inexperienced people, which, if you're trying to do a fast raid, isn't beneficial at all. So no. No to matchmaking. Please, for the love of our sanity, no match making.

Strikes are different from Raids. Two or one person can carry the team during strikes but 1 afk person on a raid is going to slow it down. People want to do the raid fast so they aren't gonna slack off
