I really like hand cannons but if you can get you hands a Suros Regime you will be set for a while. Otherwise a legendary I would recommend would be shadow price all around a good weapon, I have two. If you aren't level 20 yet the shingen-E will be you best bet.

Level 29 but don't play much pvp. I am mainly a pve player but my exotic bounties require me to play pvp

The Suros is amazing for both PVE and PVP no down sides to that weapon.
