its decent in PvE, but in PvP, a 3 shot kill hand cannon isnt all that great. the Painted Big Chief and the Regulator, both of which are rare (blue) guns can 2 shot head shot people. sure, the Thorn has the Mark of the Devourer, but even so, that does damage over time. the Chief and Regulator kill them right there.
