I want to start a new field of psychology and figure out what drives people to make serious replies to obvious trolls.

I think it is probably somewhere in the realm of a compulsive disorder....I have some issue in that department, not sure why, but things have to be a certain way sometimes....similar mindset with troll repliers....most of them/us don't see the obviousness that you do, when it comes to trolls.....sometimes it's hard to believe people are that stupid/mean/ignorant/hateful/angry.
