My friends are pretty casual, and they tend to like games where they are like gods among men. For example, in dark souls, my best friend never got past the asylum demon.

Never did play Dark Souls myself. I can understand their perspective though. I'm not what you would call a competitive player, but it doesn't hurt to be able to hold your own against players. [spoiler]I enjoyed PvE more than I did PvP.[/spoiler]
