Most users on this forum don't understand the significance of what Bungie's timed/not so timed PS4 exclusives mean... Especially to Xbox owners. Back in the day, Bungie was a "respected" game company. When Halo hit, Bungie blew off the charts. Why is that relevant?
Here's 3 reasons:
1. Xbox owners literally made Bungie who they are today. Face it, Destiny wouldn't be what it is without us Xbox peons. It seems Bungie has forgotten that fact.
2. The whole "it's not Bungie's fault!" BS. Gimme a break! As if Bungie is just some pawn being played in a game. If that's true, Bungie has fallen far... Which makes me question my loyalty in the first place. Isn't "loyalty" a two-way street?
3. It's the principle of the matter. How can a gaming company turn their back on an entire fan base that propelled them to stardom? Do you support/not care about what's happening here? You'd fit right in a Game of Thrones episode.
All in all... As an Xbox owner... This sucks!

1 ReplyEdited by Ardenstone: 6/21/2014 5:30:31 PMSeriously beating a dead horse here but, I was all xbox for the last decade. Played every Halo game more times than I can count. The second I heard Bungie was teaming up with Playstation and offering better stuff for Destiny to the PS community, I made my decision to jump on board. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to benefit from companies decisions. Regardless of all the past .. when you hear a company offer something great and you want it, you go take it. Just like everyone else has said, it's not Bungie's fault Microsoft screwed them over. My question is, if you planned on making Destiny your number one game for the next decade, then why when you heard that bungie was offering those special gifts to ps owners, did you go out and buy an xbox? I was just like you man (an xbox whore). I've just learned, if you want to stay ahead in life, you must learn to survive, adapt, and overcome. Don't blame Bungie here and become a sponge to all the criticism on this community. Blame yourself for not using information you received from Bungie to make the right decision when purchasing a console to play Destiny on. No one put a gun to your head and said, "buy an xbox". The truth hurts.
