Why don't schools take bullying seriously?

>"Help school this person is bullying me" >Nothing happens >Victim doesn't bother to seek help since school doesn't offer help >Gets worse >Suicide >"OH KNOW WE ARE SO SORRY FOR THIS HAPPENING IF ONLY IT COULD HAVE BEEN STOPPED"

  • Because it isn't an actual problem. The only reason it gets highlighted so much is because the libertards are always moaning and complaining about it and seem to think it can be stopped, despite it going on for centuries.

    • Bullying wouldn't even happen if the kids that get bullied would just ignore the bully and stop caring.

    • Because schools are limp-dicked, politically-correct pussies.

    • Isn't life grand? We humans only really give a -blam!- after the fact.

    • Quite frankly I think that physical conflict should be encouraged. Douchebag is troubling you? Knock him the -blam!- out xD

That's what I hate about people. The only time people care is after that person takes their life or some damaging thing happens. Look at that Amanda Todd girl. Instead of people helping her they just bullied the -blam!- out of her and nobody cared, not even her friends which turned. It's sad that it got to the point where she had to move away. Then she commits suicide then all of a sudden those asshats and other people start caring. It's -blam!-ing pathetic.

        • Because it's our behavior. School exists to teach you, not give you a safe environment.

        • Honestly fighting is the best way to fix that I think cause bullies feed off of fear so show them watsup and aim for the jaw. I've done it before and he became humble

          • Yeah, I remember when going to school, unless it broke out into the fist fight, the school would do NOTHING. Then if a fist fight did break out, both parties would be equally punished. Very, very -blam!-ed up logic. I was in ISS so much because of that dumb system, because I don't take s*** from people (I have a very strong sense of justice). Honestly, going to public school was in many respects like prison, every day you had to watch your ass and you spent a lot of time in the hole (which is made intentionally uncomfortable, although in some ways still preferable to the threat of getting in a fight outside). ****ed up my GPA too, had a high school GPA of 3.2 whereas I had a college GPA of 3.76 as a math major. Glad I got through it though. If public school was hell, university was ****ing heaven man.

          • Because "LOL it's just kids being kids" or "we can't stop them they'll just keep doing it". Basically: administrators being lazy assholes.

          • Because teachers only care about how much money they get through the grades their kids get and nothing more, money grabbing dicks

            • To be fair it's kind of hard to enforce. If we did, there would be many situations of things going like this: "you're a -blam!- bro." *tells teacher* *bully gets suspended* *parents rage and make a big deal about it and get him back into school* Parents these days aren't what they used to be. They never take the school's side. If you got in trouble in school, your parents used to be accepting of it, and when you got home you would get your ass whooped. Now, parents never think that their child is ever in the wrong.(mostly because their child manipulates them into thinking he didn't do anything wrong). My parents would never take my side. My younger brother, used to constantly get in trouble, always blaming the teachers for hating him for no reason. I didn't buy it, but my parents did.

              • If you don't wanna get bullied stop being lame. Schools should teach kids how to be cool cats.

                • Because schools are there to teach, not.help out some kid who gets his lunch money taken. Proper procedure is o meet bully someplace after school, with group of friends(if you don't have any, that's your fault) and fight him. Say "Hey, man, I don't want any trouble, lets just stop the childish bullshit right now." Once he lets his guard down, sucker punch him in the face and beat his ass.

                  • Agreed. We should petition that bullies should be executed in the spot [Is that too far in the other direction???].

if i was still at school and getting bullied, i would threaten to take legal action towards the school, cause where i live, the schools have to do something about bullying

                  • Society as a whole ignores bullying, I do a lot of community work and Domestic Violence is a big issue but the majority of people (Police included) couldn't care less about it. As if someone getting their arse kicked daily in the one place they're supposed to be safe is acceptable.

We live in a very litigious society. Adopting a zero tolerance policy or ignoring it are both lazy options but they both let the administrators cover their own asses.
