Does anyone actually like the Resident Evil movies?
Seriously. They're so shit. Does anyone here actually like them?

I agree they're terrible as well, when i saw Wesker in Resident Evil: Afterlife, i wanted to kill someone. The whole thing just looked garbage and Wesker wasn't anywhere as devilish or clever like in the games, he was just some dude who threw his sunglasses at Alice, then all the CGI looked terrible, then half the action doesn't seem in anyway believable. They're disappointments, that's it, and i swear they don't even try to put effort into any of them.

I like watching phelous review them. I'm also pissed that Barry didn't say anything about a Jill sandwich when he was in the movie. Also Chris never said "I got a shotgun" which was also disappointing.

1 ReplyThe first one wasn't TOO bad, the rest was just garbage. The thing which annoys me the most is how they portray the characters from the actual games, it's like they don't do their research at all; just look at a name, picture(sometimes I don't think they even do that), hire a actor/actress and make a script for however they want that character to act. I don't know why, but I still keep watching the damn things whenever there's a new one released. Guess I'm a sucker for punishment.

I really like all of them. People take them too seriously which is why they always get poor reviews. Just relax and enjoy it for it is, trashy fun entertainment.

I remember watching one a few years back, and it was unbelievably bad. I don't even play the games, so I don't know how much they destroyed the story/ characters. There was one particular fight scene I remember which was so terribly done that I couldn't take the rest of the movie seriously. The worst part is that some of my friends think the movies are incredible, though they like "The Big Bang Theory" as well, so that probably explains it.

I would never go to the theater to see one. If I'm bored on a weekend and on is on, they are a good way to burn a couple hours.

Nope, there terrible. I think it cost $30 to make one though so I'm sure it's profitable
