What has it removed that takes away from the Dead Space experience?
Co-op's optional
Universal ammo was put in to make way for the customization options of the weapon bench
Unitologist soldiers almost always end up getting killed by necro's/turning into them
And i'm sure there are still plenty of cramped areas in which Isaac traverses. To assume otherwise without first playing the game would be absurd.
So, do tell. What is so "Generic" that DS3 has added or taken away?

Edited by die wily: 1/30/2013 6:44:06 PMThey designed the entire game with co-op in mind. There is no separate campaign for it. Sure, you can run through the main game by yourself, but the game isn't made to create a feeling of isolation anymore. In addition: cover-based shooting, bright lighting, a smooth-moving camera, abandoning the look of the series, explosions, "epic moments," "big freaking drill," etc.
And i'm sure there are still plenty of cramped areas in which Isaac traverses.
With a friend, (or room for friends,) of course.
To assume otherwise without first playing the game would be absurd.
I watched most of the pre-demo material for the game and have been given absolutely no indication of slow, cramped areas, so yes, I will assume otherwise.

From the looks of it, and the demo game play, it's just not scary It's just sad to see a promising new ip (well, kind of new) go the resident evil route so soon.
it's just not scary
It uses the same pop-ups from DS1 and DS2 not only that but the full game will have dark, tight place like the old ones. Well that is if you ever watched the videos.
It's just sad to see a promising new ip (well, kind of new) go the resident evil route so soon.
Not. EVEN. CLOSE.
