WHAT'S THE MEMENTO FOR?
Why give away guardian game Mementos if we can't equip them on new gear? Makes no sense.

1 ReplyIt's a high end cosmetic and a trophy...but not much else for now... But I take pride in their use as I have almost every crafted gun with gambit mementos on them and it's been a goal to complete the list... Sometimes you have to make the reason to play your own....

Just another system half implemented then abandoned just ignore them, unfortunately they do have more important things to work on than removing or updating a drop from a seasonal event, especially GG.

Mementos are cosmetics for the crafting and enhancement weapon systems, which is vastly superior to the tiered system and their holofoil cosmetics. A lot of people, myself included, still use and prefer weapons from the old system, and like to be able to earn mementos. Besides, weapons really don’t even matter with the current state of the game, because you can simply steamroll through almost all content in this game with pure ability spam.

Crafted weapons are still as strong/stronger than most t5 weapons. So its fine to get those. Also if they werent giving mementos anymore, you would have complaints about not being able to earn those anymore. So its better this way (even if they should be possible to be applied on any enhanced weapon i agree)
