DELETE CHILL TOUCH FROM EXISTENCE
IT IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST MODIFIER IN THE GAME. ENEMIES RUIN THE FLOW AND FLAWLESS RUNS BY HAVING A STUPID PSION POP UP BEHIND YOU AND DEBUFF EVERYTHING YOU’RE DOING JUAT TO GET IMMEDIATELY ONE-SHOT BY A BOSS. IT’S NOT FUN. IT’S NOT A GOOD CHALLENGE MODIFIER. IT’S A NUISANCE AND AN ANNOYING ACTIVITY RUINER. GET. RID. OF. IT.

After making enemies super tanky and time-gating every boss, they resort to massively inconveniencing you to the point of straight up incapacitating you. So many times you get slowed, frozen, or otherwise incapacitated only to then get annihilated by the massively overtuned enemies. This is not difficulty. This is like playing basketball and before the game someone says “Today you play with two 40 kilo weights strapped to your ankles.” It’s dumb. It trivialises progress, ability, build crafting, light level, everything that gives you a sense of progress in this game.

Or how about just delete all these hard modifiers in the portal nonsense and let people play the game and freaking enjoy it. Bungie should stop forcing people to play on harder modifiers it should always be the Player's Choice if they want to play harder content. That's why at the end of the day you can't blame the community, all you can do is blame bungee and the streamers who gave Bungie feedback to make the game harder back when final shape was in early development. This info I'm talking about was literally confirmed by popular streamers like sweaticle! Apparently streamers like him when they were at Bungie Summit they asked bungee to make strikes harder not to make the portal not to make 90% of the content feel like contest mode 24/7 with trash rewards bungee took it way too far. Just to point out as well nobody in the community asked Bungie to remove seasonal content last season.

1 ReplyIt wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't so many abilities tied to being able to sprint. Any slide melee, thruster, I'm pretty sure dodge is canceled by slow to. If i could still use those abilities it would be way less egregious.

They are all just annoying!! And instead of having the mindset of what can we do to make this a fun, challenging experience (you know because it’s a game). Bungie thinks what things can we pair together to make this as aggravating as possible, Crota boss with chill touch for example.

Just pretend your playing on hard mode gears of war. Where the Theron's would 1 shot you with a grenade crossbow bolt thing.
