Okay right now... or when I sign on...
I need some "green" mats... the color is important.
The only determinative source is ONE location on Outpost.
No where else...
There's a lot of different sections and subsections on the maps. Can we get a little more diversity for mats up to blue?
And/or can we get a tradeoff exchange for same tier mats. It can and should be expensive and mats should be paired per exchanges.
Ex. Biomass for Gel and vise versa, 5 per, 10 per... expensive. Gun Metal for Lead.
Something like that.
Maybe you @Bungie look it as a skill check... and that's fair, clearly you see maxxing out Factions as a skill check... because you need gold mats, you need to use keys and staged PoIs to get them reliably.
I'm saying UP TO blue. That's my feedback.
Because 100% it creates a bottleneck for "friction" ... player clashing at those source locations.
I don't think that changes if every mat up to BLUE has at least 2 farm spots.
If I was an ***hole... solo or squads, all I would do is camp these single location early game mats. You'll know those are developing or newer players... it will be easy to grief those spots.
And I think any exchange should be limited and expensive, because it shouldn't be a fair alternative that encourages taking the "easiest" path.
You shouldn't be able to grind the easiest mats per tier and then exchange them 1 for 1 without tradeoff or penalty. That's why I say 5 to 1... 10 to 1 with pairing restrictions.
It would benefit barters too, I think.
All in all... Provide a little more flexibility, limits griefing at single source locations... WITHOUT giving away the farm.
@Bungie... for your consideration, please and thank you.
