Created new Bungie account with PSN even though I had one through Steam- how to cross save
Hi, I created a new Bungie account linked to my PlayStation account for the Marathon server slam. I have never played a Bungie game before Marathon, but apparently back in 2019 I created a Bungie account with my Steam account, which I had forgotten about. That meant that when I tried to link my Steam account to my newly created PS Bungie account, it gave an error and said my Steam account is already linked to another account.
I saw that in March 2025 they updated it so that accounts can no longer be unlinked. I figured with a change this big they would have sent an email about it.
Then I thought maybe I could delete all my account data for my Steam Bungie account, but it seems like this is not allowed either.
So does this mean there is now no way to link my Steam account to my PS Bungie account, and thus no way for me to enable cross saves between my PS5 and my Steam account?

Hey there, Unfortunately, We can't unlink any accounts and can't make any exception under our policy.
