Auto rifles suck
In general these weapons are not much good in any activity. Sure you could use a good 720 and the occasional 360 in PvP. In PvE? Oh heck no. Primaries in general suck but auto rifles really take the cake.
I don't want an auto rifle meta but it would be great if I could take out my collection and not feel like I'm bringing a super soaker to the front lines of a war.

They suck this season since there isn't an artifact mod for one. But I agree they aren't that great. I love my autos but I only use them for the occasional order.

You’re right primaries suck in general but it’s true for all non-exotic weapons in my opinion not just auto rifles. With ammo generation so high, dual specials are viable. I just keep a primary to tide over out of ammo situations in raids, etc. but primaries would need a massive rework to be viable again.

3 RepliesIn pvp 600 and 450 autos are still decently strong. For pvp Braytech werewolf, firefright, perpetualis, tigerspite (hidden gem for autos), prosecutor, and positive outlook are viable options rn especially when you play their ranges with most of these being absolute lasers. Now for pve the only auto I keep coming back to is my rewind round/shoot to loot kinetic tremors givers blessing, but im also finding a new love for zealous ideal

3 Replies360's are not exactly dueling weapons They have bonker range. And if you place it on 40 stability, you essentially have a laserbeam for long range. Once you get a kill perk going it shreds, that is, if you get a kill

5 RepliesI am having fun with my kvosthov. I can use that gun pretty much everywhere and do good with it. The exception would be in -50 delta activities like GM's. Can't say anything about the pvp side i don't play that mode a lot.

3 RepliesI know you’re talking about PVE mainly but they’re quite good in PvP it’s just pulses are way too good and have been for years now. Them being this good means other primaries are useless

I still like my 360s in PvE and keep one for every subclass I might use just in case. They are a bit wanting though; you're spot on about that. Couldn't care less about their performance in PvP though, if I'm being honest.
