Frame pacing issues are back with latest update

As in title, it's really bad again.. I guess too much tweaks in backend or what ever they did in the code by current update.. Im using driver 140fps limit +vsync, was ok 1-2 days before the recent update. Fps monitoring from steam overlay, upper right corner https://youtu.be/06ZZpRsXC0U https://youtu.be/DwaxyHS9so8

It's not fixed anymore, it's back again. my current dxdiag: https://pastebin.com/vzg5zHig Edit: I use to force driver vsnyc and fps limiter to have it smooth (ingame was bad pacing and fps drops), but since tuesday update I have to disable driver vsync and use ingame to have somewhat ok smoothness, it's still not ok..

  • It's the game and their removal of Exclusive Fullscreen, even though the game is DX 11 and not DX 12. You will not fix this by reverting drivers, reinstalling OS, disabling shade cache or reinstalling the whole game again. This is on Bungie's end and only they can fix this. For now, there is no fix and Bungie is doing nothing to fix this. They did not even acknowledge that this issue exists and it has been a problem for almost 6 months now.

  • Still not fixed in the slightest. Having the same frame pacing issue on a 5080, 9800x3d, 64gb ddr5 RAM. Installed on nvme drive. No matter the frame rate cap set, I still see spikes constantly in 1% lows and it's visually very jarring, despite my system able to get well over 200fps in most areas.

    • It's ok now from yesterday's update on 10.2.2026. Im playing it now, just did one nightmare arena match, without fps display, and I didn't see any micro stutter or frame pacing, maaaaybe 1x. Hopefully you will keep it as it is now.

Same here. This game has had FPS issues for a while. It hasn’t been optimized for a FAT minute. I managed to get the game to run decently on a 5070 by tweaking some NVIDIA settings. This new update basically ruined all that and the game has some terrible FPS drops not to mention the damn stutters.
