So I have nothing against Marathon, looks like & cool game & I'm curious to try it out. However, in light of the rumoured delay to Shadow & Order I have decided that I will not be buying Marathon till Shadow & Order releases, nor will I be giving Bungie another cent of income till that time either. I would encourage all Destiny players who are unhappy about the delay to do the same, even going so far as to cancel any pre-orders you may have made. If you don't feel this way then I totally respect that, no drama there guys. But for those who do feel like Bungie has taken us for granted, THIS is the ONLY way we can send them a message that they will listen to. #NoMarathonTillShadowAndOrder

3 RepliesBungie hasn't even confirmed the delay. Paul Tassi has rarely been right with his information.

I can do better than that. I won’t be giving marathon the time of day EVER. I won’t even be watching content on the game. (Granted I don’t watch destiny content either)
-
Until Shadow & Order ? I won’t be buying Marathon at all.

As someone who is excited for Marathon, but also still love playing D2; im glad the drops don't overlap. I'd hate to have my time split between Pantheon 2.0 and a new game drop.

2 RepliesI once heard a rumour the world was going to end in my lifetime(actually a few times).. To my shock we are still here. In journalism integrity and truth do not sell and get clicks. Fear, anger, and hate gets clicks. And you fell for it. A journalist will make the worst out of any situation and with a lack of anything else will go for "rumours" from "sources close to the issue." It's a video game. There's real issues in the real world people should care about.

Sending them a message that you wont buy their game......until their other product is released is not the message you think you're sending. Especially when you're telling them what you're doing.

I don't look at this as a possible delay because of Marathon, I see this as Bungie pushing everything back to get out of a Summer and Winter release time line into a Spring and Fall release time line, because nothing wants to come out during or near a Gta 6 release window and it gives Bungie more time to move away from the portal.
