Account cross save not working on steam
Hello I was playing destiny 2 on pc then Xbox and moved back to pc. My Xbox characters are not showing up on the steam version of the game but do show up when i download the game through the epic launcher. Can I please get some help or point me In the right direction to get help as I can’t find a contact form on the other website for account issues

When i try to remove my steam account it says please login to the correct steam account. I only have or have ever had one steam account. I can see my characters when I log onto the game through epic games launcher

3 RepliesEdited by EckyThump: 1/30/2026 4:37:39 PMHey there, is 'harryonpc1080p' the login name of your Steam account or your current visible profile name if someone looked at your page on Steam's website? If so, then could you have perhaps linked it using your Steam registered email address and Steam password instead of account login name and password? Doing it the first way around actually links a different profile to the one the Steam launcher actually uses - Steam supports multiple profiles on the same email address. That can explain why the characters do not appear when you launch the game on Steam.
