Edited by WinterSolstice: 12/14/2025 10:07:37 AMI think people here are forgetting there's a thing called too much rng. Bl4 has arguably the lowest drop chance of perfect legendary weapons and it's by far the most hated. Yet people don't want bl3 where every kill drops like 5-10 legendaries they want bl2. Where they spend 1-3 hours per a boss to get a perfect and only have a select few items that can take half a day or longer to grind.

I feel like you are playing the wrong game genre if RNG annoys you so much. What you are saying is like saying "Fifa relies too much on kicking the ball".

anti can't wellskate - old
tier 5s are handed out like candy this expansion; no offense but i think you're just approaching activities wrong -
It’s a looter shooter… At this point ya just don’t like the game and won’t leave 😂

1 ReplyThey know the drop rate. They just wait to adjust it after the community gets frustrated. Bungie are well aware of how this game run.

2 RepliesOh ho ho I wish you suffered with us D1 vets back in the day brother that’s a part of the fun is never getting what you dream of and yearn for🤣(😭)

So we are complaining about rng in a loot based game now.... Lol
How can this still be going on that rng still runs this game I can understand making it so you have to do harder content but why such a slim chance of anything good dropping

gi...gi... git gud
No bungie is killing this game with all the stupid -blam!- they keep putting in.

Rng has been here since launch of D1. If Rng is killing the game, then it shouldn't have made it for 10 years.

Every tier 5 gun has 3 perks per column. That’s equivalent to 9 different rolls back when we only had one perk per column. It’s less rng to get your roll than it was to get 5 red boarder guns for crafting. Where is the rng?

7 Replies-Plays a game literally designed around RNG. -complains about the existence of RNG. If you don't like the randomness of it. You are most certainly playing the wrong game. They aren't going to change it because you don't like it. And they shouldn't, it's carried them for over a decade at this point.

1 ReplyEdited by RΞd p0int: 12/12/2025 5:50:21 PMBecause that's one of the things keeping the game alive literally. It's running off of what I can only compare to as gambling addiction the player base gets the same dopamine hit off of chasing specific loot as they do going to the corner store getting their favorite lottery ticket and scratching the itch.
