Bungie linking issues
Hi I'm trying (and debating giving up on) to get back into destiny after leaving after the final shape, my issue is that my Xbox account is linked to a bungie account that is also linked to an old steam account that I don't use and a twitch account that just doesn't exist anymore, I've recently moved to pc and my actually active steam account is on this bungie account that's also linked to a PlayStation account. I just need any help or direction in getting my Xbox account (which has my characters) onto this bungie account after the abomination of a change that bungie put out on March 25 2025

Hey there. Unfortunately due to the change you're referring to, it's no longer possible to unlink platform accounts from Bungie Accounts. There are no workarounds, exceptions, nor will Bungie do it on their end. So there is no way to do what you're asking because at some point it requires a platform account to be disconnected from a Bungie Account. If you want to play the XBox characters on PC but do not wish to use the old Steam account, you could consider playing the game on the XBox for Windows PC store version.
