Bungie, I hope you read this post without any hesitation, as a player that has played this game since the beta release of 2017 still playing on collector edition disc, now in renagades, let me be the first to say I understand from a business standpoint there’s a lot of tension from inflation and PR from political issues especially overseas for the past few years, however it does not excuse the fact that many people paid for this content and there is bare minimum return on investment. As a veteran player, I would be content with Red war or forsaken or any other expansions to not return in full, all I ask and many who I play with ask, please make character unlock progression shared across all three characters. For example, I missed out on my titan and warlock helmet for prestige leviathan but my hunter has the full set unlocked, personally I would like the armor in collections to be unlocked fully on my warlock and titan and vice versa, because the eater of worlds and spire of stars prestige ornaments already do that, the system is already there and needs to be expanded upon. Although, the idea that you wish to keep armor physically farmable to a specific character, there’s no reason why it can’t still be that, but make it to where it only applies to armor stats only. Therefore, the grind for stats on that specific armor with RNG remains and players have more transoms armor sets to play with, the games API already tracks Set IDs on the armors so, in a technical standpoint there’s absolutely no excuse for not giving this to players. In all Bungie, I’ve stayed playing your game through every trial and error you’ve thrown at this community, but it’s time to start helping the community that put you where you are, because renegades content is coming to a close already, and Sony’s at your door, I guarantee you, doing this would bring many players back to the game, though it’s a start it’s at least a step in the right direction for good PR.
