I remember Bungie mentioned GM Vanguard Alerts would be of similar difficulty as old GMs, we expected -40 power level (same power deficit as GM conquests). Went in there and tried a few loadouts, and every one feels horrible. Wish ender and Eriana’s Vow do not one shot barrier shields, Peregrine does about 1/2 of champ health etc. I don’t remember old GMs being this difficult. We were looking forward to new weekly challenges, I guess this is not it. This is a one and done deal for us, definitely not fun to be “farming” like older GMs…
Before the “skill issue” or “git gud” posts, the wife and I are both conquer x 11 and we’ve always played end game in duo. We LOVE decent challenges, but this is definitely not it.

That's because GMs are a part of the Old destiny. The one Tyson Green doesn't like. And since we want those and not the conquests. Bungie's idea is to make them worse than ever before, then giving them back without their weapons, without the title, without the same difficulty. And paraded as a favor AFTER they deleted it in the first place when NO ONE -blam!- asked for them to get rid of it. Tyson Green doesn't have a -blam!- clue as to what the vast majority wants. If he did, several hundred thousand players would still be playing. Not leaving.
