We warned you about invasions…
Seem to be almost universally disliked so far…
Bungie, PvE players do not want PvP forced on them! Give the option to disable invasions entirely!
The player numbers will tank really quickly if you don’t fix !

It's not forced or required. You do have the option to disable invasion by chosing what you play. There are 2 benefits from risking invasion (a nominal risk) or invading. Efficiency as it's easier to overlap contracts usually. However not always, often PvE ONLY maps will cover multiple contracts at a time. And the red crystal. Oh, the title probably... so 3. That's it. Nothing is forced or required. It will take longer to progress.

1 ReplyUp to now, I reckon I’ve done about 20+/- invasions…the only thing stopping me from doing more is getting access via those required tokens, which are a pain to get - for me. The number of times my exfil ship has closed doors or is a ‘no show’ is really grinding my gears…besides which, I abhor the Neomuna Overtuna vibe - especially after igniting the exfil beacon…🤬 So far, I’ve collected about 3x enemy crests. All other encounters ended with me getting stomped by…unseen ohk enemies…behemoths…nuked from another dimension…etc. I’ll keep on invading until the Sith crystal drops, or invasions get nerfed. That is all. Ease Things! 🙄

1 Replyyup.... literally the most neglected and universally hated game mode gambit, and the took the most annoying feature out of it and put it someplace it doesn't need to be... sums up how out of touch bungus really is with the few people they have left playing this dogsh*t game.... i love the franchise i really do but jfc these people making decisions are hot garbage.

Edited by CORPERATE COMMANDER: 12/9/2025 10:45:04 PMIts got cheats aswel mostly aim bots lol that dont miss a shot normally a twitch streamer or yt next to the name,iv just been against one recently and once accessing his steam account i couldn't report his account to steam like he'd blocked me beforehand or accounts protected somehow ,German twitch streamer only 2 steam games so prob not a legit account and had multiple comments on account about reporting them Would prob be a good playlist if bungies anti cheat was on par with the cheat providers but yes daft idea considering its not optional you either invade or get invaded, since bungie rewards more rank progress for this playlist than others

5 RepliesIt's honestly not that bad. If you can kill them, great. If not? Your team gets three free lives when they Invade, and they leave after three kills. Just let them get their kills, then move on like nothing happened.

It hasn’t been a problem. You always know when to expect it. So far I’ve caused more damage than has been wielded toward me. It’s only once and it happens really quick. I think they are fun and I actually really enjoy invading and being invaded if you can believe it.

There are options to avoid invasions though, right? I haven’t completed the campaign yet so I haven’t had a chance to see exactly how it works. If it’s optional, then I don’t see a problem there. My biggest concern from the feedback I’ve seen is the Renegades abilities getting spammed and too many 1v1s (not invasions). However, the concept is an exciting one for me - I hope they build on the idea and iron out any creases. -
1 ReplyActually, I don't mind. They have options for invasion and non invasions lawless so its easy to navigate. Honestly once I get the red crystal I'm done with invading unless I am forced on a particular contract. But I can understand others perspectives. I am a below average pvp player myself.

1 ReplyEh. They get three kills or we do, I haven't noticed much of an inconvenience, I've even killed a few invaders myself. I can't say it's been a problem.

Why it's a minor inconvenience at best just wipe invader or let him get his kills ats it's done within in what 4 mins max it's no big deal.

First i enjoy the invasion aspect but could be more tweaked. Second you can do non invasion and honestly its minimum impact in a event so not sure what the uproar is. Don't do invasion if its that awful to you, its not a full on pvp it's about 2mins in a match and done

Not to mention how broken being an invader seems to be lmao, not getting their rewards, not spawning, etc. Then you have the issues of people choosing a non-invader version of the activity and still being invaded by a player, this -blam!- is so tacked on its hilarious
