I know bungie wants players to spent silver for their cosmetics, but a lot of ppl motivation in the game was to farm bright dust, we are not in the most healthy stage of the game and you are loosing player retention because of lack of objectives and motivation because of greed. i would rather have 2 guys paying for silver but 30 playing, than 3 guys paying for silver and 10 playing. You know what? i will not be surpised if bright dust gets removed eventually with an excuse of "there is too much materials in the game" or something like that, or, "players are not engaged with the bright dust system so we removed it", that you make in purpose to create your own excuse. Or in 2030 if the game is still alive, we get 15 bright dust per day divided in 3 daily hard bountys of 5 bd each, and thats all because each cycle is getting nerfed till we get to the minimum. i used to play a ton for that currency and also paying for cosmetics with silver, i will do none, there is not respect for players time, because again, GREED. There are other type of strategies to get money, respect your players, let them feel that bungie deserves it, just like warframe.
