People say there’s too much negativity?

I jumped on this morning always in the hope something has been rectified n Bungie is listening to the feedback from ALL its gamers not just the streamers….. That was a BIG FAT NO!!!! You wonder why there’s negativity? It’s because the game is broken, I have played this from the start n never seen it like this n quite frankly if nothing changes with renegades I’ll also be sadly joining the rats jumping from the sinking ship!!!! I played a matchmaking fireteam portal n there was nobody else there with me, I then went into Siege n there was one guy but he left, so I jumped out n back in again but was put with one guy n then finished the battle he was in one chest mission complete for another hour n 40 mins… Negativity? That’s because it’s backed up by frustration of what was a fun n great game but in one season Bungie or the new boys n girls have managed to destroy it!!!

  • If you feel slighted by someone, you owe them nothing. Dont let anyone tell you different, and dont forget it. Toxic positivity is way worse.

  • Negativity here comes in different forms. It's always been that way. For the most part, it's come from under achievers (for lack of better term). That's historical fact. The complaints with actual game mechanics malfunction....that's altogether different and legitimate. My main complaint is mismanagement of pvp - 1. The original concept combining pve / pvp was good, sorry to have seen it fade. Good times were the original Thorn quest, and even the Gambit exotics. Game roots we'll never see again. 2. Bungie's desire / construct based around "player inclusion" for it's beneficiaries has been a huge part of pvp devolution over the years, second only to uncontrolled cheats / hacks. Bad times include shadow mechsnics - damage referee, comeback, rng shot pattern, ghost bullets, mm parameters. The denial/ lies that went along with it (but proven / eventually admitted) even worse. Smoke & mirrors that completely undermine what a pvp is. This includes Comp and Trials. 3. No development for years at a stretch. ________________ On the pve side, I have some raid and dungeon experience, but not a ton. More or less, when there was a weapon worth chasing for pvp I'd put in the time (e.g. Nechrochasm & caralyst). I'll acknowledge the studio production level on end game activity though where its a cut above, they can be a cool experience. I don't mind the current ramped difficulty levels.....its necessary for those that need / enjoy the challenge. Just stay out if not your jam.....that's what I do. I have limited vestment these days. The current raid doesn't offer anything worth chasing that's a pvp standout, so I've not been in. This is defacto pve / pvp separation., which was inevitable. When considering what you get for groups and what you have to put up with in end game pve, it's not currently worth my time. Bungie is on the right track offering more for solo players in pve, including difficulty level choice.

  • There’s different kinds of negativity… Some is people having expectations of something happening that Bungie never indicated would be a thing. Some is people being upset a bug/system not working right impacts their gameplay experience. Some is just the constant call for more content. The one that’s unique to Destiny as far as I can determine is the group of people that act like jilted lovers or bitter ex spouses that quit the game a long time ago but hang around to try and make everyone else around them hate the game too.

  • This forum has been overwhelmingly negative for the last decade.

  • When was it a fun game for you and the other people who are complaining? I’ve been coming here for around 4 years and I’ve always known this place to focus heavily on the negative. People who’ve been here longer than me say it’s been that way for much longer.
