Eruption is the worst game mode ever.
Eruption has to be the worst pvp game mode ever made.
Seriously who thought that punishing people for doing the objective, was a good idea.
Bungie: Oh so you killed a Guardian in a Player vs Player activity ?
Player: Yes.
Bungie: As a reward for doing so, here is a time bomb that will blow you up if you don't get another kill and a beacon that will tell your opponent where you are.
Player: Dafuq ?
In all seriousness tough, why the hell do you get punished for killing a player in a pvp mode ?
And it doesn't even make any sense, why do you get punished for getting a kill, but is then tasked to go and kill even more players as to not die ?

Nah, its just because you don't understand it It's risk/reward Yeah you have a timer, and the enemy knows where your at ,but kills and assists refresh that timer, and kills while under this effect are worth 5 points Tribute is the worst pvp game made ever invented, I would rather be kicked in the gut by a horse than play Tribute -

1 ReplyIt’s a team effort not a solo effort. Even if you blow up it doesn’t account against you’re kd, it help the whole team get there supers quicker and it entices players do be more aggressive for a quick win/mercy. I don’t mind blowing up, I’m caring about winning and having fun. The only that bothers me is teammates not playing with when I’m prime. I don’t need the kill just the assist, the longer I stay prime the faster your supers charge and the faster we win.

I thought it was funny. I’d get a few kills and wait for the timer to run out then use the luxurious toast emote and get launched, couch and all. 😂 I can see how it’d get annoying for good players though. -
2 RepliesI don't think it's a terrible mode even though I'm terrible at it. It's kind of a balancing act; sure, there's the risk of blowing up without continuous kills but at the same time, your abilities and super charge quicker to make it easier for getting kills.
