Your Power Grind is lame..
Making us run through base level stuff that we'd previously knocked off in GMs is just.. insulting. Running it solo, flawless only to get rubbish armour and weapons that are only worth infusing.. lame.

2 RepliesThe idea is that we waste hours and hours into portal activities to level up so we can unlock higher tier gear.... which means playing aaaaaallllllllot is needed to get the best gear. So this system is a big f u towards casual players

Well this IS a free to play grind game after all. Portal is just the next final step. It's ok though!! There is a plan Bungie will now add all our past paid season content and just recycle it in and out to the free to play crowd slowly as new content in portal. Hoping to sell micro transactions to kids lol. You see it now?

1 ReplyI prefer the o.g rng pinnacle grind to this, I also accept the game is no longer applicable to casuals like myself, until that changes I ain't buying another expansion, only thing I will do is buy the season pass for the exotics but stuff the ridiculous grind for tier 3 and above gear, I'm certain that later on bungie will bring in a catchup for people who a behind when numbers drop critical again

3 RepliesI understand that they want a huge power grind for long hours for players. Why don't they allow every activity to raise your level. ? It's mostly old content to raise your level. This is the worst power grind ever. The good activities don't even come until way higher power level. The portal is insanely small.

I think you should add is that we are gonna have to do this every single expansion.... so when renegades comes around gets it's going to be another boring -blam!- slog of a grind because bungie didn't think of the foresight of making this actually fun... and instead though huh... how can I remake slavery in the easiest way possible with the littlest form of reward cause we can't teir 5 gear yet I don't think

2 RepliesThe whole portal is whacked out. Fireteam only allows matchmaking on quickplay which makes no sense whatsoever.

Power level exists solely as a gate to higher tier gear…. that becomes objectively worse in a few months anyway. That’s the system. How anyone thought this was a good idea is truly mind blowing. A case study could be done on this.

... plus most of the fireteam ops have no matchmaking and a lot of portal activities are power gated e,g must be level 90. 🤬

2 RepliesPale Heart (over throw) is, IMO, much easier. Any amount of drops and a full run can be done in 15 minutes.

D2 doesn't have enough content to keep players engaged without the power chase, good or bad that is the reality of the game If there was no power, then you would still complain that there is no reason to do anything Go play COD if you want everything spoon fed to you -
I haven’t touched pve in ages so everything felt fresh but it’s a very slow creep .
