I love the gunplay. I enjoyed the story and our introduction to the nine. I enjoyed Lodi. I enjoyed the puzzles and matterspark despite its visual glitches. I really enjoy grinding content, I’ve done hundreds of dungeons and played over 3000 hours.
This power grind is disheartening and I thought we moved away from this. I can’t even matchmake for fireteam ops without being sent in alone.
Admittedly, I had a lot of fun when grappler was available because it made old content feel new and faster without skipping ads. Please consider lightening the power grind for future dlc and leaning into what makes the game fun (things like grappler) instead of removing them from the game because they’re “too beneficial.”
Thank you for the game, it’s been great up until this point.

YA. SUNSET the wallet I did

Agreed SUNSET THE WALLET

Ignore the shills, your opinion is just as valid (if not more, considering player count is in a nose dive).

you misspelled destiny explosion

1 ReplyI just cannot share any sympathy for this. We've had more than enough problems as of late with how Bungie handles things and folks still cannot express enough self-control to wait, hear and see before making the plunge for the next expansion/pre-order? Nine forbid if this ever made sense.

6 RepliesYou claim to have 3000 hours in Destiny yet you seem to forget the power grind is a part of it. You clearly like every other pathetic whiny player just want everything handedto them. Destiny got too easy and too boring Edge of Fate fixed a lot of issues that seasons especially brought. I mean +10 power a season was a dam joke and honestly didn't do anything to the game

Edited by Disparity: 7/20/2025 9:16:02 PMMaybe we aren't able to buy another expansion. Lets see

I miss Joe. I didn’t need to have a level or my loot throttled. I throttled because seasonal and raid crafting gave me on demand experimentation weapons that I could play around with while I chased non craftable weapons. We got permanent things for our classes steadily. Not destination gimmicks as an expansion selling point. WQ-TFS era was the best despite its issues.

There's always a big power grind with every major expansion. Season used to have +50 light power grind, then they brought that down to 10, then for 1 season completely removed it , then back up to 10. Major expansions have always been about 200 light grind.
