Is it too late to get a refund? I went into this expansion thinking that they would make it better and while the destination and activities are awesome kind of sucks when you can’t hear anything and the fact that it’s not a push to get it done it’s just I feel like a lot of PlayStation especially PlayStation five users are just gonna not play destiny until they fix it, which isn’t gonna help them retain any players because even if they fix it, you’re gonna have people trying to get a refund or try to get some compensation for not being able to play the game that they spent $100 on

You'll need to contact PSN Support regarding their refund policies and whether or not you are still eligible.

I didn't purchase eof and i still feel like i got ripped off.

4 RepliesEdited by Ulzana: 7/20/2025 4:56:08 AMHaving fought with Sony a couple of times for refunds, I had to go through my State Attorney General Consumer Protection Division to coerce Sony to refund me the last two times (CP 2077 & an auto-charge subscription that I had turned off but one of their updates turned it back on without me knowing). If you've never gotten a Playstation refund, they might give you a "1 time, good faith" refund. My first one was for No Man's Sky, but after that 1 time, you have to force a refund no matter how egregious the problem. Going through the AG was actually very easy. I just explained the situations with online emails, they contacted Sony, and miraculously the refunds Sony said I wouldn't get, were given back to my PSN wallet.

Sucks to suck.

If you can show the PSN support guy that you are having severe issues with the game just being functional, between crashes, errors, audio problems etc they will sometimes refund even if its outside the refund window. They did it for me when Div2 dropped the WoNY expansion and I was outside of the refund window.

If purchased through Sony you can ask for the refund. GL getting an answer fro Bungie
-
What makes it worse is due to the gear changes I think you absolutely have to purchase eof in order to even play the game anymore, I could be wrong though. It's so stupid honestly when you think about it. I just want Sony to take over or better yet just end the game. It's so obvious they're just scrapping the bottom of the barrel now.

I agree with about getting a refund. I want my money back, so I can delete this horrible game.
-
If it works pls tell us how you did it so more of us can ask for it

I tried playing on XBOX, and the game keeps crashing in the second campaign mission. If I buy any other product, and it doesn't work, I can return it. Why is this different?

1 ReplyYa worked for me just call your bank.

It’s never been this bad. And their in no hurry to fix it 😡

Apart from the crashes I'm getting still it's crashed on me 3 times on morphology last night. Im enjoying it. Here's the thing, U paid a 100 for something that covers 2 expansions. I only paid for 1. As frankly, I find it's more better that way. Renegades is still gonna cost the same as edge of fate and it equals the same together. I only have the choice to buy the second reward pass of each expansion now. Which personally most passes have been hit and miss

1 ReplyAm on PS5…slowly working my way through the campaign, and just generally pootling around, getting to know the lay of the land. Occasionally, the game crashes…mostly in PvE stuff, and once in PvP when I was on my 6 / 7 Comp starter matches. A lot of ‘Sound Synch’ issues seem to happen in almost every PvE encounter…which is a bit weird, though manageable…where I expect the game to crash yet again?! Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn’t. I thought about the refund question…but due to past experience with Sony / PS - I just consider it a write off, instead. 🧐 Life’s too short and in this instance, the fight ain’t worth the hassle. 🫤 Given the dramatic drop in paying Customers aka players, and overall negativity surrounding this EoF season, I’m sure there will be other dramas in the coming weeks / months… The delusional hubris at BHQ needs sorting. But, that’s a job for Sony, and not for this weary old tortoise. Imho, if playing the game bothers me that much, I can simply switch it off. 🤔 In the meantime, it’s eyes up, head down, and off a-pootling I shall go. Hey-ho! 👻 That is all. Ease Springs! 🫡

I so want to empathize, but what??? Sentence structure struck me down… like Jotunn… sorta unfair but deadly. Also bump… Folks need a refund.
-
Just explain to them what’s happening and I’m sure they’ll issue a refund. Can’t own a game that’s unplayable right?
-
Lack of sound certainly hasn’t helped things

2 RepliesTalk to PS/Sony customer service to see if a refund is possible

PSN only refund back. Major Bug that is Unplayable at all. As it state. Once you have purchased and Download the content wont get refund.

20 RepliesI’m on PS5 and have minimal issues. Every once in a while the audio drops in volume while I’m shooting but then goes back to normal. As far as refunds, you need to go to the platform you purchased EiF from to seek a refund.
