Error code CE-34878-0
Seems like I’m not the only one who is getting this code after the update for the Edge of Fate expansion. I haven’t even bought it and I have barely been able to play since Tuesday July 15 because of this stupid code.
Though I have been randomly getting a prompt at the bottom of the screen about contacting the Destiny 2 servers or however it was worded for a while now and that would either kick me to orbit or the the title screen. Kinda frustrating when i can’t even play the game.

1 ReplyI found the SOLUTION for the PS4 error CE-34878-0. Add-ons 1 to 6 are corrupted. So, when REINSTALLING Destiny 2, only download the base game; add-ons 7 to 11 will download automatically. If you happened to enter at some point and equipped the new armor, that's the problem. So, go into any in-game app and re-equip your old builds. After trying everything on the PS4, this worked for me to get back in. I hope it works for you 🫶🏿
