I planned on running the mission a few times with my buddies this weekend, only to find that the sweats have once again exploited it to their own gain..ruining it for the casual player.
The end result is that the no-life streamers have a massive advantage over every other player. How tone deaf can you be.

1 ReplyThe rich get rich thing has nothing to do with this, at all. Way to pop a random phrase in there. 😂

….. grinding Encore. The game is (was) now about grinding Encore. Hours and hours of grinding Encore. This is a good sales pitch for all those on the fence about buying. Bungie should have left things alone either way. This should have been a huge red flag about the state of their loot drop system if people were actually willing to do that.

Saw on YouTube a streamer he knew did 30 hours straight so he’s probably 350 / 400 power …I get this cause he probably wants to be raid ready but still that’s insane . Seems abit unfair now that Bungie have taken that advantage away .

2 RepliesWith all due respect but complaining that you're missing out on an exploit is downright sad. I heard about the Encore exploit before it got nerfed and I didn't do it once because I couldn't care less. The only people that care about those sort of things are people that want to rush the power grind as fast as possible because they have zero patience.
-
They do this every release. Things that make you go Hmmmm 🤔

1 ReplyEdited by Darren: 7/19/2025 10:26:41 PMI remember the money exploits in GTA V, all those that did it had their money taken away.
-
5 RepliesHow stupid are you? Bungie stops exploits because of people like ypu who say they can't jump on when you want to. Is the Destiny community really this stupid nowadays? I guess so.

5 RepliesEdited by vphokie: 7/18/2025 1:05:48 PMWhile I don’t hold it against them personally, I’m tired of always seeing the sweaties, tryhards, no lifers, and streamers capitalize on every sort of exploit while the rest of us with limited availability to play have to catch up and are essentially punished for not grinding through the entire expansion in 24 hours after release. (This applies for any time there’s some sort of weird Bungie F up that results in exploits…not just this expansion.)

I hope a nobody group wins the raid race again.

7 RepliesI don't even care anymore. I'm sick of fun stuff getting discovered only to get patched before I even get home from work. You want me to fall off because my job interferes with my ability to play a single video game? Fine. There are plenty of other games that are far more accommodating to people with actual jobs.

I don’t really care about the nerf, but in general it sucks that Bungie allow ways for some people to skip the power grind ahead. And yes you can blame the streamers for that “all you can eat” mentality. Instead of enjoying the game they are fostering a fast food approach to Destiny. -
🤡🤡🤣🤣 When will you clowns learn

Bungie loves those Amazon checks.

1 ReplyThat’s always what it’s been about. They only cater to elitists who are in some fashion related to their investors and/or contribute to their brand. Bungie does not like outsiders or their feelings hurt. Be warned.

Edited by HaVoK308: 7/19/2025 12:38:48 AMYep. This is the Bungie way. They should have announced the issue so most were in the know. Then set a date for the “fix”. That would have enabled the working class to be on par. But nope. Bungie does this -blam!- all the time. Their precious streamers know of a leveling/power glitch. Prepare for the Raid. Bungie shuts it down before regular players ever know it existed. Every time.
-
3 RepliesAll this just so the sweaties and streamers can have their screen blacked out for 90% of the worlds first race 💀

2 RepliesEdited by ben: 7/18/2025 1:53:49 PMI wouldnt really blame it on the streamers, it said right there in the portal that encore gave four pinnacle drops. Anyone could have figured it out by just reading it it wasnt some crazy secret it was just farming a portal activity the way it was intended. I started farming encore on wednesday morning and was 200 after two short sessions. Still inexcusable that they would patch this out with so much urgency all because THEY made a balance mistake. It wasnt even a bug or an exploit. They wanted people to be able to use the portal to farm drops infinitely and they simply miscalculated how fast people could do encore. So because of their mistake power level becomes a fomo thing.

The people who got the chance to run it arent to blame. Bungie is. As someone who didnt get to run it i place all of it on bungie. They do this same nonsense every single dlc
-
Edited by Grim Thimble: 7/18/2025 6:22:13 PMThey could not appear to pander to the streamer base any harder than they are…intentional or not. Pull your heads out of it Bungie. I was so hoping to re-establish my PAYING customer status. NOPE.
-
Exactly this. It’s unreal how they make the most idiot and foreseeable mistakes and then have the community bear the consequences.

2 RepliesFeel like this shits intended. Every expansion i can remember theres been an easy farm up until a friday. Cause you know the people who work aren't allowed to get gains. I paid for this one, so I'll be playing, but overall, I think im done with bungie. Every time, they hit us with this same same but different -blam!-.
-
4 RepliesThe end result would have been you telling us next week - there's nothing to do....
