It always seems like PvP is nearly there.
“Oh it’s ok X will be nerfed next season and everything will be fine”.
But then something new gets added and breaks another gun, exotic, ability.
They’ve tried all sorts of remedies to PvP issues. But maybe let’s just restrict load outs and abilities?

Bungie doesn't care about balance, they said that 6 years ago They create artificial metas to keep the sandbox fresh

2 RepliesProblem is the sandbox/exotic weapons/armor team always has a cool idea right as the pvp "team" gets done putting out fires. Those turn into new fires. They needed to separate the samdboxes, or make a ban list, like just upfront tell everyone these exotics were designed in a way they knew would screw pvp, so they just aren't allowed.

I came on here to see if it's gotten better after a 3-4 month break. Honestly, I don't believe it ever will get better. As a pvp player, it's time i leave destiny behind and be thankful for the light vs. dark saga and realize bungie has nothing to offer anymore. And I have zero trust in them in terms of pvp and will not be trying any games from them with pvp in the future. They release a pve only game, I'll consider it. But honestly, if u want pvp I suggest u do the same. Marvel rivals is a significantly better experience, Apex is also 10x better than destiny pvp. I mean at this point battlefield 2042 has half the max player count as destiny and still a better pvp experience.

lol pvp is such a mess and then all the issues with servers . I am now only playing d2 pvp at the weekends now , at least I can find games 🤷🏼♂️

4 RepliesShould be no class abilities at all and all other abilities should require kills to charge.

After much consideration and reflection I've narrowed it down to the problem being ME. The other team could get super soakers and I'd still suck.

I’m sick of it.

It'll never happen, all the time there's broken weapons or perks it increases playtime for people chasing said items.

1 ReplyTrials should have locked loadouts, period. If it's the pinnacle like GMs it should be treated. There's too much ability spam PVP has no identity

I'd love to see a three to six-person attacking team get a debuff to ability and super cooldowns, but that's never going to happen. Targeting assists is a cheap way to gain rating for players who don't like 1v1s and just kills the fun of the match for those solo players who don't have cooperative players on their side. Hunter teams in Supremacy mode are a great example of how much worse the "monkeys holding hands" principle that's been around since Destiny 1 can become.
