I'm pretty sure it just bungie's running joke now to have it pop up saying one of the teams won. Especially with all the people who think it's rigged every year. I mean, even if it is, who cares? It's not like anything actually important happens by winning.

I said 'kinda', because it was weighted based on class numbers and playtime. Because of that, medals were worth more for the other 2 classes... and guess what people did? They duped medals. So now every year since the Bungie adjusts it as the event is happening. How could that ever work? That's why people believe they just rotate through... and they probably do.
