the darkness subclasses are great, but it would be nice to have another super for each and alternate melee ability options.

they're SO fun but i feel like the darkness subclasses should have alternate supers and alternate melee abilities just like the other subclasses. maybe give the hunter a crossbow super (projectile, not hitscan) as an alternate to the stasis super that act as a mini glacier grenade with each kill and a quick melee attack with silence and squall as the alternate melee ability that spawns a stasis glacier in the center of a duskfield grenade effect on each kill. those would be great for the hunter. maybe stasis titan could get a slam that spawns stasis pillars in the area for their altsuper and an upper cut that spawns a stasis wall on kill. stasis warlock is the easiest for me to think of. stasis warlock could get a stasis turret and a quick stasis block that you have to hold the melee button to cast and lasts for half a second. for the strand subclasses, i think the hunter should get a strand trap that suspends anybody that walks over it in the air, much like wittys tall strand users do in the final shape. for the melee ability, i think we should get a lasso or something like it that we can use to pull enemies to us, much like what wittys strand psions use to pull us. for the titan, i believe that they should get a super that buffs them with overshield and heals them. their alternate melee ability should be a quick wave of strand energy that suspends whoever it makes contact with. for the warlocks, i think it's be a good idea to give them 3 strand throwing knives that they can throw, each one spawning threadlings on kill. their altmelee would also be a knife but instead of being a simple throwing knife, it'd be a sacrificial dagger that spawns threadlings on kill. though, since a sacrificial dagger would be hard to make, maybe just use a hunter knife or the needle from arcane needle. either works

      "We hear you and so we're gonna disable a fragment for nerfing and cover it up as it was causing network issues" is probably what they'll say. I'm sorry to this day I still refuse to believe a subclass fragment that's been in the game for almost a year already (jeez) caused a network problem, doesn't help it was one that was very beneficial to the player and er know bungie's history with stuff that benefits players.

    • From my perspective as a Hunter main, I feel like the options we have now are great, the damage just needs to be buffed/tweaked. Silence and Squall would be so much better with a DPS buff and a wider AoE. Threadrunner is fine as is. Strand melee should get a more forgiving window to regain the bonus energy and a much more “annoying” visual/audio indicator, as well as apply strand debuffs better than it does now. For all Strand subclasses in general, debuffs should be easier to get and more potent. Sever, exhaust, etc. just [i]feel[/i] so weak compared to their Light equivalents like weaken and radiant. However, I don’t think stasis needs much work, especially for Hunters and melee. The shurikens are ridiculously good as is and I don’t think I’d switch off them with my build

      • We have asked this for 4 years now. As a warlock main who actually mains shadebinder I want a super were I summon countless stasis staffs and rain down hell on my target(I really don't want more turrets, it's uncreative and boring). Stand I want something like song of flame but for strand, have it enhance you're melee and other abilities to spawn hives on surfaces that continuasly spawn threadlings.

      • Awhile back I made a post about more [i]Stasis[/i] [b]Grenades[/b]. We need one that [i]Shatters[/i] on [u]Impact[/u]. I'd love to see a [i]Titan[/i] [b]Melee[/b] that also [b]Shatters[/b] on [b]Impact[/b] to give some alternatives to the [i]Cryoclasm Aspect[/i]. Additionally, [i]Hunter's[/i] need a solid [b]Targeted 1-Off[/b] [i]Super[/i]. Something like [i]Gathering Storm[/i] could be lore accurate or viable from an aesthetic+logic standpoint. I'd love to [i]Titans[/i] to just explode in AOE fashion (much like the [i]Nuclear[/i] [i]Banes[/i] we're seeing) with a [i]Super[/i] too. [i]Glacial Quake[/i] is incredible, so I get not really sweating it, but still.

      • I would love to see more aesthetic tie ins to the abilities based on the subclass (in general for every subclass where applicable) Example: stasis hunter super is 2 kamas (which i THINK is also used in the shatterdive animation) So an alternative melee is the kamas. Either thrown individually or maybe one massive swing/slam with both of them. Another example would be like the solar warlock sword.

        Stasis ideas Hunter: Stasis Super: Stasis bow that shoots a projectile that creates a slowing field. (Similar to how Duskfield works) Stasis Melee: Throwable Stasis dart that freezes enemies. (Similar to Strands Rope Dart but has no tracking or ricochet.) Strand ideas Hunter: Strand Super: Strand trap that suspends enemies for 5 seconds. Strand Melee: Punch that severs enemies. Defeated enemies spawn a special Tangle that when destroyed, boosts class ability energy regeneration slightly. [spoiler]Hunters need a rework the most as they are the weakest in both subclass types for any content that isn't PvP.[/spoiler]
