I’ve done it a lot. But I know some older players who struggle with these types of missions, and I can understand those who have anxiety too. Some people a happy alone too I guess. There should be a way for them to get this unique item that truly pushes our builds and makes prismatic fun.

  • It’s a multi player game. Some things need to be earned by playing with others. I’m a solo player and did it. My friends that are solo players did it I’m not sure if you’re solo player or not but maybe offer help to your friends if you ran it several times. I think that’s the point and why it’s called Dual mission. Two people, light and dark and reward with two perks? Anyone dealing with anxiety should be dealing with that instead of worrying about a reward in a game.

You don’t understand at all. This is not a game, it’s a business. We have a paying customer who was promised something unique, something powerful. This customer feels left out, stops playing. Bungie makes less money, and invests less into content for Destiny. You get less content, bottom line. We as Destiny players should want EVERYONE to be happy playing Destiny. Solo players know they won’t get raid weapons etc. But the most unique and powerful item the game has ever seen?! It’s a missed opportunity for Bungie to not allow solo « only » players to get something like this when they paid the same price as everyone. It makes no business sense. Too bad, we’re the ones who will miss out, the ones who stay and get a mediocre product.

  • I’m a solo player that doesnt understand solo players? But you do lol. Gotcha. When running a 25 minute mission in a video game becomes overwhelming, it’s time to put the game down and get help. Maybe offer help instead of crying in others stead.

When you become an adult and learn about grown up things, you’ll understand. All I care about in this thread is the game of Destiny, right. For Destiny to thrive, they need money. Understand up to this point? Ok. To make money, they need lots of players, like governments need workers to make taxes, right? But if players leave, Bungie makes less money. You follow me? So my point, which you aren’t understanding, is that making ALL players(customers) happy is how you make the most money in business, right? Are you starting to understand? So not giving solo players something they were promised is a bad thing. They don’t want to do the Dual Destiny, but they want the class item, don’t know why, don’t care. They want to be left alone. But they have money. Try to figure it out.

Yeah you continue to be wrong at every turn lol. I stopped reading at the first sentence due to how utterly wrong you are. You frame things in way that makes you feel right regardless of the facts. You run the mission all the time but can’t help your friends that struggle. You feel for those who play a game and refuse to use in game resources to get the mission done. You don’t offer help to those players either. Youre a hypocrite that enjoys complaining. This thread has been up for days and has been down voted. Yet a handful of the usual suspects that always have a problem with everything want to argue. The FS is a smashing success and that’s not debatable. Having to play a mission with others in a multiplayer game is expected. Both of those statements are basic common sense. Good luck with that.

The campaign was ok, even good. But now that it’s done, Destiny is spectacularly amazing? Nope, it’s actually quite boring. But those reviews must send lots of money Bungie’s way right? Nope. The numbers are similar to Lightfall as it is, maybe even a little lower. But who needs money when you have great reviews.
