Bungie, if you don't want to fight cheaters, give players the opportunity to protect themselves!
1. The blacklist of players should not have a limit on the number. (now 1500).
2. Cheaters from the blacklist should not get into the same match with a player. (now they just can’t join a fireteam if its leader has banned him).
3. The player must have access to a filter with which he can cut off potentially unwanted players.
And don’t whine that then the selection of players will take a long time! It's better not to play this at all... than to lose your nerve with cheaters!

So you want an infinite opposite of the avoid feature in overwatch? “Hey, that guy is really good, let me block him so i can’t play against him!!!”
-
I play trials every weekend for varying times and I cannot for the life of me find these phantom cheaters that are so abundant.
-
yes bungie, let me fight only bad players
-
Why not just have zero "anti cheat" and let EVERYONE play the way they want? Wanna win? Pay for it. That way there's no excuses, no crying and Bungo don't have to ban anyone or have a "non functioning placebo" anti cheat.

Edited by piratepatchy243: 3/4/2024 11:55:50 AMBlocking only effects communications, what you want it to do would absolutely be abused. Bungie needs to start swinging the banhammer, but the security team is either severely lacking or non-existent right now. Report and move on is all that we can do, I wouldn't hold your breath considering the state of the game as a whole. It may never happen, as much as I would like to hear all the win-traders I've reported -blam!- that's what it is. Edit: Smfh, of course over half of your flawless runs were win-traded. So now you want Bungie to allow it again, lol what no one wants to carry you anymore? You're only adding to the issue, don't bother replying and too bad you did it pre S15 or you'd get a ban.

2 RepliesWhat a brilliant idea. I'd be able to block from playing all the better playe..... I mean cheaters
-
6 RepliesNot going to happen. People would blacklist better players just to get easier matches.
-
7 RepliesAnd when people start "blacklisting" players simply because they lost to them, what then?

I can't agree any more
