Bungie, you are so out of touch with why your company is struggling. Changing Trials to encourage more sweats to pub stomp normal players *isn’t* how you get more people to play trials. You think I or most other people will even bother knowing we can get matched against people farming flawless cards at any time? No… we won’t. You had it right with freelance and a flawless pool. I hope the streamers set up a Gofundme for you after your company tanks.

2 RepliesIf you're not that good then people better than you need to keep playing to carry you.

1 ReplySweats will continue to pubstomp regardless, even if adepts stopped existing altogether.

1 ReplyBrother, card based matchmaking isn't a thing; you could play against people on their first game.

5 RepliesThe “sweats” were going to continue to play in the same pool anyways. Wdym? Ftbmm might as well be freelance, it’s a free solo flawless every weekend. Flawless pool should have never existed. Y’all cry about everything. “Wah good players are card resetting. Plz fix it.” Bungie fixes it. “No not like that QQ.”

11 RepliesFreelance ruins the team version of it. Flawless pool just encourages win resetting. Freelance is literally a slot machine on which KD players you roll to win or lose a match. Game is too old to be fair and fun for everyone. Most people complaining can't hold a 1KD for the week and expect to compete. I respect the people sucking it up and try to play their best. I don't respect people who join the game with a pve loadout and expect to play for 7 wins.

"pub stomping" in trials 🤣

I don’t think you understand what any of those changes mean. Might be best to keep your “feedback” (whining) to yourself.

3 RepliesEdited by jhermannITJ: 11/8/2023 4:49:57 PMIt actually does the opposite... I would make it automatic. Once you go flawless, every subsequent win... while remaining flawless, would drop an adept. This would help a lot... in both encouraging higher skill band players out of the practice pool, while discouraging early card state farming. If they leaned into, significantly more generous rewards for those that excel and play the mode faithfully... it would be better for Trials and Comp.

It’s the same only the flawless players will get the roll they are looking for faster. They have always been in the pool farming adept. I’ll be better this way they get out of the pool faster.

6 RepliesAfter reaching 7, you have an increase to normal loot drops too. And that's weather you win or lose while they have to keep winning to keep the card flawless.
You had it right with freelance and a flawless pool
Freelance split the low trials playerbase. That's why it got taken out. Ain't nobody trying to wait 10-15 minutes to find a game. The sweats have always been the ones doing the heavy lifting to keep the light on in this playlist. Flawless pool made boosters money since they could just reset their cards to avoid getting into that player pool. They still stomped on the noobs who look at the controller before hitting a button and made reaching the lighthouse harder if you were not using the booster meta.

5 RepliesI agree… Why would I play trials with increased adept drops? I’ve NEVER had ANY confidence in my pvp skills. It’s one reason I’ve NEVER attempted a single game of trials. The amount of players who go flawless every week has dropped quite substantially. This only benefits the upper percentile even more… This will not bring more players into trials… They’ll continue to avoid it. What did you actually accomplish at that point?

They need to increase the engram drop rate.
