I don't mind the endless grind, but after four Pinnacle 1/8 and to get a Pinnacle on the same armor slot I'll keep my $$$$$$

I was mostly a comp & 6v6 pvp player (hated trials) but it's been so neglected i often didn't find anything interesting in seasons or expansions. So for the most part i've passed except when i was unemployed and home alone during the pandemic and got The Europa expansion for $10 since i got a free Playstation gift card too. If ya don't like it vote with your wallet, pass, wait. That's what i do. As for being work. I 1000% understand. I have routinely logged in entirely to manage inventory. And I recall a few times wanting to do pvp but i spent the entire session doing stuff i didn't want to do for pinnacles that when i was finally done i was tired of playing lol and stopped for the night. Not actually ever getting to what i'd originally logged on to do. Edit: even now i haven't played this season, but i opened DIM a few days ago and had the urge not to play but to log in and cull my vault. lol

Yet lightfall was more successfull than WQ, its playerbase just became really big, no one cares if you hate lightfall, there are many of us who loves lightfall.

Simple fix, don't treat it like work. Tune in for 30 every now and then to do a strike or 2. There are very easy solutions to your problems

2 Repliesagree that pinnacle progress is already so slow that they should implement bad luck protection also a ton of players don't get even half of the pinnacles per week because they loathe activities without matchmaking or don't like gambit or pvp there are like 2-3 pinnacles per week for most players

17 RepliesIt's very hard to believe this '8-10 pinnacles in one slot' thing. It's never happened to me, my drops are varied enough in a reasonable amount of time. In fact I'm starting to see more and more cap lately because I don't think I'm just the luckiest D2 player ever. "58 Lost Sector clears and still nothing!" Nah bro, there's no way.

1 ReplyI got it for cheaper than that on pre-order. Games go on sale after release. It happens all the time. Its marketing. The people that want it on launch will buy it. The people on the fence might be swayed by a sale and for a game like this that has to happen soon enough after release they dont feel like they already missed too much. But if you arent a real hardcore player and dont mind not jumping in at launch wait a month or so for the sale.
