I’ve been booted multiple times already today and every time, you keep claiming it’s my internet that’s at fault.
It’s not my internet.

1 ReplyNot even going to try PVP at the moment already got a warning even though it has nothing to do with my connection. I don't care if they have 'gone home for the holidays' if your going to provide a service make sure it bloody works and don't blame us for your shitty servers. You would think during the holiday period where more people should be playing your game you would ensure at least we can get a bloody connection.

Same here, on fiber internet and hard wired to PS5. Been happening since season reset, but been happening far more frequently this week, error coded out of Seraph's Shield 3 times in 1 run. Error coded out of PvP, Error coded out of the tower. The one that really hurt was being error coded out of Spire of the Watcher while attempting a solo flawless and I was up to the square room with 5 nodes on a single circuit, just before final boss.

1 ReplyI heard playstation is blaming in on the weather....,.makes no sense. First, it's across all platforms. Second, if it's not happening in other games....no sense either. No, I went through this in year one and two with bungie and learned more about routers than I ever wanted to know, then strung an ether cable across my house. It never was my internet. What I might buy into is....(no expert) but over the years of listening; I hear Bungie doesn't technically have their own servers and relies on our connection (i guess P2P) and if geographic areas are having problems, weather or otherwise, that makes more sense to me. BUT STILL A BUNGIE PROBLEM, not ours. They blame us based on how they set this up for their system to work, based on us users. I'm sure if I'm totally wrong, I will be corrected😆

They booted me from comp and I got banned for 30 minutes. What a joke lol. Just turned it off and went back to COD. Barely play D2 anymore anyway and this def didn’t draw me back in

I glazed over this post a few minutes ago and didn’t pay it much mind. Then, I got the final deepsight disparity that I needed off of a rank up engram. A [u]full five minutes later[/u], I get weaseled. I come back and the same engram gives me a pair of boots. -blam!- you bungie, this is the only game I play with these issues. Invest into better servers, this is ridiculous.

2 Repliesits definitely not anyone's internet unless you're running off McDonald's wifi or satellite. i'm running just under 1gb and have it wired to my ps5 and all i get is "contacting destiny servers". if i'm playing crucible, i get booted, one of the many "haha, we got you codes" from good ol' bungo, and suspended. i'm trying to play more crucible to git gud or whatever that lame saying is, but its impossible with crap servers and this has been daily since the new season came out

Been getting a lot of "contacting Destiny 2 servers" messages these past 4 days....

I just got 6 error codes in the span of 2 hours. Absolutely ridiculous. It’s not my internet connection that’s for sure. What the hell are they doing? Beyond absurd.

Yesterday I got kicked 3 times while doing Seraph on legend... nice. Also got kicked twice while doing Prophecy, and of course my loot was also gone... very nice. Bungo doesn't even provide dedicated servers, but when you lose connection to their servers (and usually it's their fault) the game shuts down, like what kinda idio... I mean genious designed it that way?

1 ReplyI ran the Heist Battleground and finally got the 5th Disparity pulse rifle red box I needed. Deleted it and unlocked the pattern. Slotted it in the primary slot and then conecting to Destiny 2 servers error started. I waited and it finally booted me into orbit. It then stated unable to rejoin the last session you were in. Next thing I see is the crafted weapon is gone and the pattern is back to being locked. Even if it was on my end their servers would still have registered that it was unlocked. What makes this so frustrating is the poor drop rate of the red boxes and the amount of grinding required just to get one pattern unlocked.

I was error coded to oblivion on PS5 so I tried xbsx & it's stable. I have an open nat on xb but type 2 on PS5 with the ports forwarded on my router. Usually PS5 is working great but not since the servers issues started.

whats even worse now is that now if you get booted and log back on it doesnt even reconnect you to your fireteam. garbage.
