Curious, How do you Guardians Combat the Insanity Of Champion Mods
For me, I hate this addition so much.. The Fireteam Lfg is always soo full of Have Mods, etc.. Bring Mods.. Kicked no Mods.. This system is basically saying can't bring your build, can't use your playstyle, your going to use what we say.. You dont like it well i guess your -blam!- doing end-game pinnacle activities especially if you want the good loot..
I have to put my head down and bow to this corporate slimball way of play just so i can get some high-end loot.. Seriously it just sux.. And with each new season.. We gotta get all the mods. Re-work all of our builds to just be efficient in pinnacle activities..
I literally have 2 sets of arms on me at all times just with these stupid mods. So i dont get kicked or asked.. Hey you got overload bow?
I've gotten to the point now.. I just don't even use them.. -blam!- it...
I know atleast 1 of these randies is rocking his unstoppable fusion/pulsem.. or even disrupting blade.. So i just go about my business using whatever i want.. Once they get stunned. Ill help kill.. So I'm still being effective..
I just feel like every legendary/master activity i end up in.. it feels like someone has a gun to my head or squezzing my nads.. forcing me to do something i rather not.. The freedom of choice is no longer viable when it comes to higher-ended activities.. And honestly it just sux..

If you joined a GM and refused to put on a load-out that would benefit the team, you should go back to strike playlist and be removed by the team lead. I understand wanting to run the load-out and mods you want …. But that is not always possible. I want to DPS bosses with my SMG and Heritage 24/7 …. But again, this is not always the case. Champions are part of some high level PvE activities, and deciding to not help the team out other than shooting once they are stunned is definitely worthy a swift boot for a more equip player … especially in GM / Master VoG / Master NF.

6 RepliesThat was the biggest cry I've seen on the forums. You are not helping by killing the champions once stunned, if anything you're expecting your team mates to pick up your slack. Either get used to the mods like we all do or go play something else

Well, maybe think of it as Bungie’s way to push players to switch things up? Like, I’ve basically avoided bows for years but this season have had to use them for overload champs since not much else to use. Same with fusions & linear fusions - using them lots more recently. Last season’s grenade launcher mods were dope fun! This season, kinda meh but they work. 🤷♀️

I normally just forget to put one of them on, start the activity, apologise a lot and we bumble through it, then at the end one of the other players usually says it's them that forget lol
