Does movement feel broken for anyone else?
When I’m sprinting and jump and land the game cancels my sprint, before the update you could land and keep sprinting. My Titan also feels way more sluggish than normal, was this intentional and is anyone else experiencing this?
Edit: apparently it’s the new controller settings, I’m gonna go mess with my settings in a private match and see if I can fix it. Why did Bungie make “Obese 3 legged rhinoceros” the default settings though, it’s so bad
Edit 2: setting “toggle sprint” and “hold sprint” both to left stick in the custom button layout helped a little, but didn’t fix the issue. I’ll update again if I find a solution or someone posts one

Make sure to also set Hold Sprint -> Left Stick -> short press, and it feels normal again on the ground. Jumping still cancels sprint though

2 RepliesSprint is broken on controller but feels slower overall PC & PS4 on KBM and Controller. Something broke sprint speed and the new controller remap broke controllers. Anyone else notice trigger lag?

Thanks for the suggestion. I play PC and controller. I found setting toggle sprint to short press, while hold sprint be nothing, or set it to long or double click so that it's not the same action as toggle to be the best bet for me.

I was very positive with the reveals and the content...understanding that its seasonal and not deep, but story wise very satisfying. But the movement/sprint issue is completely and absolutely killing any enjoyment I am having engaging the content. Very very sad development. I dont think this is a minor item. Whatever. They are "looking intonit" great. If you PLAYED the game this never would have launched in this state. Assuming it's a bug. If not..its a bigger problem.

I am having issues with sprinting, but cancel on landing is not one of them. I am on PS4 and not using custom settings. Seriously though... if they play tested AT ALL they would have noticed the behavior changed.

They screwed up all of my movement from last season. The nerf to my shoulder charge (a bit ago), powerful friends and now sprint? It seems like they don't want anyone moving with any kind of speed. How sad and just stupid. Aren't we supposed to feel powerful? Aren't we supposed to be space super heroes? CGI Hulk > Lou Ferrigno Hulk New Jedi > Luke Skywalker Just saying, speed and power is the dream....not one or the other or neither.

1 ReplyThe run function used to be second nature, it just came natural, now I have to constantly think about it and it's still unplayable, no matter how hard I try. I keep stopping and starting, falling to my death and walking when I want to be running. I've been playing this game and the original for 6 years and didn't think anything would stop me playing as I've stuck with it through all the highs and lows, but this change has stopped me playing, it now feels awkward and annoying. Why did they even change it?

16 RepliesYou're worried about "sprinting"? I'm dealing with rotating "newt", "guitar" and "olive" errors. Bungle has once again done a bang up job on launch. I can't stay on long enough to get tower bounties, let alone get pissed about failing to sprint.
