Corridors of Time could have been used to unlock old Destiny raids.....
OK so hear me out here, what if instead of going through the CoT and then ending being a gun, that the ended be the start point for all of the old school Destiny raids? each could have their own code and the closer you got to the end of the puzzle the more the rooms started to look like pieces from the raid itself.
if this was done i don't think anyone would be complaining about anything for a while.

That's a new one. Thinking this quest should have given us four "new" raids and all the gear that entails.

None of the old raids happens on mercury. The forest is fully confined to just the past present and future of mercury.
