So since the release of shadowkeep I've been making various builds for different activities and different subclasses and I have to say it's a lot of fun and I love what you did with this part of the game. Now here's my only issue with all the different builds I've created i don't have enough room in armor slots to keep all my builds with me and change them on the fly and the other issue is that it's a mess trying to mix and match and remember which piece of gear goes to which build. My idea for a solution is if you could please figure out a way to add loadouts that we can save different builds too kinda like the division where saves the loadout and even tells you if you don't have a piece of gear with you cause it's in your vault. I think this would be a huge quality of life improvement and many people would agree and love you for this.

Without good servers, I am personally scared of what this could do to our director and character screens. I already slightly freeze when I apply mods, I cannot imagine having the loadout thing crash my game. If we get good servers we can do it. For now use DIM or Little Light.
-
No. Just like everything else in this game, go use someone else's app. Look no further than this piece of shit app for an example of Bungie's expertise at work.
-
I'm more concerned with how easily people have become conditioned to "use a third party app" than expecting developers to include a basic function in the game.
-
Wasn't there an Alexa feature where you could have your Raid / PVP/ Casual loadouts hotswappable? I remember the commercial a long time ago.

Use the App Destiny Lightspeed. Best App for load-out management.

3 RepliesEdited by GrayWolf: 11/15/2019 6:16:36 PMIt's Bungie's API that 3rd Party Apps rely on and there is a dedicated team at Bungie that keeps the API up-to-date with the game. This web-site including the forum is dependent on the API for most of the things it does I have developed a few 3rd party apps myself against Bungie's API and the team are very helpful with questions and issues IMHO, the major thing stopping the same features being in-game is that it would slow the console version down to a halt. Consoles struggle with the inventory menu, I don't think they could add a DIM type view of all items plus the Vault within the resources running on a console

2 RepliesConsole Limitations dont allow it

1 Reply3rd party apps like ishtar can do that for you
-
12 RepliesDIM does it already so why the hell should they make something thats already been made.... thats like saying "-blam!- it! make it again!."

Destiny item manager You're welcome 👍

Savage_atrocity You make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but,The Black Garden may not stay among us for long. Something has begun to repair the schism torn by its destruction. Vex now flood the Garden channels to protect it. We must stop the weavers before they seal the Garden and begin to summon back its heart.

5 RepliesFor those suggesting 'just use an app', I'd like to point out: how damn hard is it to bake the code into the game. Blizzard has done that since WoW began. People would build addons for WoW and then if an addon became popular enough, Blizzard would actually build it into the game proper. Seriously, Bungie... if someone can do this on a phone app, I think you all can actually code it into the game.

For the BDF, If Bungie is able to add a Eververse tab when Shadowkeep dropped. Why not a feature that helps the QoL of its player base. I guess the BDF hasn't dropped enough silver.

3 RepliesAppreciate the feedback but I don't feel like we should have to use a third party app for a game we pay for and have been continuously paying for years (expansions) it's a basic feature that should be in a game trying to classify themselves as a rpg/mmo then you need to have these features
-
Definitely need this. The apps often don’t work for me at least and it’s annoying to have to go to an app for something that should be pretty basic in game.

1 ReplyThere's a real life ghost shell that does that.

Use google Chrome and DIM (Destiny Item Manager). You can create loudouts and so much more.
-
Several mentions of this. Maybe it takes too much development manpower.

I wouldn't mind having the actual freedom to just wip things together based on what you've discovered. However they've made collections a tantalizing and useless feature. Only problem then is light level grind, and sure having loadouts at the click of a button or whatever would be easier. However it would probably run into limits of how many you can have and you come right back to not enough territory.

1 ReplyYou have to use a separate app for that, which is laughable to me. Call of Duty and other games have had this feature IN GAME for years!!!
-
1 ReplyUse the vault app

2 RepliesUse the Ishtar Commander app, it has what you're looking for
