I think we are all getting TIRED of Bungie nerfing stuff as streamers request on their cry-videos, aren't we?
I mean, what a guy posts at his channel is just his/her opinion. Just like any other thread in this forum and it should be considered in that way.
If bungie's criteria is based on what these people say.... that is very dumb from Bungie. Honestly.

Maybe bungie wouldn’t listen to them as much if the alternative wasn’t a bunch of whiny destiny dads and their children complaining and whining about everything with little to no constructive criticism or actual reasoning.

For a majority of the the encounters for anything pve that gun made them easy and not fun. I’m nerfing it they made it infinitely more balanced by not letting power creep take over the game. From bungies perspective, they were thinking “how are we gonna make another weapon better than infinite ammo” in reality you can’t make anything bette me than that.

When people have hundreds if not thousands of hours in this game. I think they might have valid opinions my dude. Plus bungie looks at the books to validate their claims.

I'm not a fan of Datto, in fact I find him monotone and boring. But, I can't deny that he an intelligent guy and that he thinks about the big picture, what is best for the game. He also makes valid points to back up his claims. All I hear on the forums is "waaaaah don't take my toys" with no intelligent argument behind it.

yea we are godlike but the enemies we fight are supposed to be equal to if not stronger. if we were stronger than everything to ever exist ever then we could just cough and bosses would die... think before you speak.

Nope. WE aren't ALL tired of it. I want Well to be nerfed. Its overpowered. There is no debate here. The game lacks a challenging and rewarding endgame. Powercreep has gotten too bad. Nerfs are completely justified to preserve a haelthy balance in the game. I'm not a streamer. Don't speak for me.

What we are getting tired of is people crying about nerfs that need to happen. We are tired of people who think this game should be an idle shooter where u just don't do anything and get rewarded. Streamers play this game as their job. They earn money from it. We play this game as a hobby, for enjoyment, and we don't get paid money for it. I have no idea who thinks that one is representative of the other, but those people need a good public flogging.

2 Repliesyou actually have it backwards.. whats far more likely is they knew they were going to nerf well and it was going to be unpopular so they spoke to datto and his "influencer" budies asking them to smooth the waters a bit by trying to "influence " their communities that its actually a good idea. in return their pet shill's will get some juicy news to reveal first or something ... and for me thats much worse than him coming up with the idea himself.

51 RepliesIn D1 we got nerfs because of PVP. It was said over and over that the community would never ask for a nerf because of something to do with PVE. Why would they shot themselves in the foot like that?madness! Now in D2 a small group in community - Well too OP please nerf. Bungie- why Community - because we can one phase a boss and we feel like space Gods because Space Magic and we hates it Everyone else--- seriously? You wanted a great support class Bungie gave you a great support class. Sorry that it works EXACTLY like its suppose to. My dad always told me to work smarter not harder. 9 RepliesAnd it doesn't really take a genius to realize the flaws in their arguments: Well is overpowered based on one or two specific loadouts? Look at how trash exotic gear is as a whole? Look at how trash auto rifles are, scouts, machine guns, rocket launchers, linear fusion rifles, sniper rifles in PVE. Not everyone has mountaintop Not everyone has Anarchy Not everyone has swarm with spike grenades Not everyone has phoenix protocol The average power of any subclass including Well Lock is decent. Not OP, not underpowered, but decent. You must factor in a multitude of possible player loadouts. Luke Smith plays Well Lock with one specific piece of equipment in Phoenix Protocol (that not everyone has) and exhalts that Well is too powerful. He selectively excludes Sanguine alchemy, Vesper of radius, etc, all other subclass neutral exotics that are equipable and SHOULD factor into that determination. Put an auto rifle, sniper, and linear fusion rifle on that Well Lock and see how strong he is . . then claim that guardians are too powerful. Put on Vesper of Radius and see how overpowered your Well Lock is. Why selectively exclude 98%+ of the gear in this game when having these discussions?

[b][u]Skull[/u][/b]: • Kills with your [u]Cataclysm Nova Bomb[/u] spawn additional seekers & will continue to spawn seekers so long as they’re killing enemy combatants..! • Dealing AOE damage with your [u]Vortex Nova Bomb[/u] will extend its Duration [u]Indefinitely[/u] so long as it’s killing enemy combatants..! I feel like this would be an acceptable change..! :-)
