I think we are all getting TIRED of Bungie nerfing stuff as streamers request on their cry-videos, aren't we?
I mean, what a guy posts at his channel is just his/her opinion. Just like any other thread in this forum and it should be considered in that way.
If bungie's criteria is based on what these people say.... that is very dumb from Bungie. Honestly.

Any idiot out there can request to bring back the Vex Mythoclast that can one hit kill bosses with max range and stability, does it happen? No. Will it happen if they stream about it? Maybe. And that’s the scary part of the social media centered world we live in today.

Some corporation drive media, others have to kneel before some scrubby jobless beggars’ request for publicity. Guess everyone can understand why Kotick couldn’t go further down the sink. Just look at how bad these people play their own game. No wonder they are fascinated by this drop out beggar. There are social start ups that sign contracts with streamers and the like influencers that have millions of educated followers, then there is Bungie who relies on cheap streamers most people hate and watch only to troll or because Bungie provided them with exclusive content or visibility. It’s like chicken and egg, however the monocell version. Just look at that Lisa and her arc sentinel, the scrubbiest gameplay ever, yet then they talk about how well should be changed? Right. Swallow this POS. This company is digging down deeper every time. The most hilarious and pathetic thing for me was “this ad supports Bungie”. I’m happy they can rely on the proceeds from other video game commercials to pay their bills.

Some of the exotics are pretty much useless now. Ones that I used pretty much all the time have been dismantled because having you normal armor is much better than equipping an exotic that doesn't do anything anymore

I do agree on the point of well and bubble not stacking, the reasoning makes sense. Considering every raid boss is is one phased within the the first week or 2 of release

7 RepliesI just watched Datto's video where he talks about the Armor 2.0 reveal but then immediately talks about "Weapons of Light" coming back. He groans and puts his face in his hands. Then starts pissing and moaning about buffs stacking and how he doesn't want it. He really is trying to make this game just for him, isn't he? I wasn't even fully aware how much Datto is influencing the direction of this game but I've read a few things about it and now it's rather obvious after watching his video with how much it coincides with various nerfs making the rounds. Bungie's gonna lose a lot more players if they just keep trying to appease the try-hard streamer demographic like Datto and others. The smallest percentage wants specific nerfs to weapons and classes they don't use and buffs to the ones they do but they're "influencers" so Bungie wants to give them what they want. Hope this company can make a living off ten percent of their original player numbers. ......or maybe I don't hope that.

There opinion should be held against there status within this group. Datto has done more than enough to be respected for his opinions and will hopefully continue to do so. He is representing his position within this community. Disagree,agree,it’s all good,but to question his validity of opinion against individual customers is self serving misplaced ego. This is like life in general.Posting an opinion in a forum is not like taking an opinion from a long term stake holder in destiny. You over inflate your position. Just so you know,I don’t subscribe to datto.but I do to kingothalion. My opinion anyway.

What a cry. They make these decisions based off stats. However, people that play the game quite often, aka streamers and tubers / hardcores can pick up on these percentages. Well is out of the curve. Striker is out of the curve. Lord of Wolves is out of the curve etc etc Obviously.

7 RepliesListening to streamers is probably a good call. They are often the ones who spend the most time playing the game, leading to more experiance, deeper understanding of the game, thus being able to provide better and more detailed feedback. It's not about their following, it's about the amount of experiance they have.

1 ReplyI don't follow streamers due to the fact one of the specific group were fed raid information from leviathan to crown of sorrow. Streamers that cry tend to get more viewers for a hallmark sympathy card from their fans. However, I do agree with you that having a streamer giving their opinion about a weapon being overpowered shouldn't get nerfed. A weapon to get nerfed is because players that use it too much. Example, Whisper of the Worm got nerfed due to the fact that the Crown of Sorrow boss would have been killed quicker than using spiked grenades. I believe that the streamers shouldn't have any influence on weapons that are too powerful. And thus should be decided by Bungie if specific weapons should be nerfed.

Take datto for example he has almost a million subscribers and gets thousands of view with a very good like ratio why would they not and if you think they should listen to these forums more then your crazy it has a few thousand people on it it’s common sense to take more input from something that has way more people on it.

It would happen regardless, the fact that any endgame pve activity can be 1 or 2 manned with Warlocks and Lunafactions/Pheonix Protocol is pretty obvious to anyone who bothers to pay attention. Try doing Reckoning without a Warlock on Well, it's obvious to anyone who's not in denial that it's WAY harder. Everyone got their easy mode crutch for a year, there will probably be something else coming along to replace it and I personally don't have a problem with not being stuck running Well with Mountain Top/Recluse for another year. I'd like to do something different.

I've been saying this for years, streamers are a leading issue in all nerfs. Granted well has a fast heal rate. However, they nerf it, we have our heal rift to drop to compensate. Idk what people want, something that does practically nothing? Like the titan bubble. No. It is a sturdy super to absorb face tanking bosses, like it's supposed to be. I have been killed in pve while in one, many times. It isn't god mode, and anyone that thinks so is an idiot. If it nullified knockback as well, then I could agree. There, fixed, half heal rate and add knockback control. Point is, streamers have taken over. Without them dropping thousands of dollars in the micro market, crying about direct purchases, and complaining on Neververse, where do you think it would be now? Less focused, and more variety elsewhere, that's where.
